new animation thing that I did for my "thesis" music and art by me (Raine Pultz) "My animation work uses a visual relationship with time to capture a sense of life and spontaneity that contrasts with its digital origins. Utilizing a series of ever-shifting shapes and colors, I challenge the notions that say virtual tools cannot be used to create art with a living essence. Each frame of my short videos is created individually, chronologically, and often without following any kind of script or storyboards. This results in a stream-of-consciousness creative process, which in turn gives my animations an unpredictability that is mirrors the experience of watching nature. When paired with the dissonant chiptunes I compose specifically for each clip, the final results are a strange and fascinating blend of “real” and “artificial”." Another little chippy song I made today in a few hours. Yay!

While this is the closest to what will appear on the album, Manny ended up doing a lot of weird crazy sub bass and crowd-noise sampling shit and it sounds almost nothing like this now. Dude knows what he wants though and it IS pretty rad, just in a different way. (I’d share it but it’s not public yet). 

(the main melodic parts of all three of these tracks is based on a single arpeggio in the fourth part of the five part, 12 minute final track of the album. fun facts!) 

First iteration of an interlude track I worked on for the album that my band is making. Made in ORG Maker. Very different from what I ended up giving my main man, although my pool of influences is the same.
