IF HER TAIL WASN'T WAGGING BEFORE, it certainly was now. After all, how many women got to say that a goddess considered them perfect? She would venture a guess that it wasn't many. Katya was starting to think she had gotten terribly drunk and died and went to some sort of heavenly plane.

But obviously that was not where Katya was headed after death, so she was more than alright with accepting this reality, especially as Lolth put her hands all over Katya.

She felt a claw rake up her back, blooming blood dripping slowly from the wound and she let out a small pleased noise before pulling Lolth back into a kiss, deeper this time, more animalistic, more passionate. She wanted those teeth and claws all over her body and she was more than alright with being roughed up while they were at it. In fact, she was encouraging it with her behavior.

Silken threads winded around Katya's limbs, pulling them taut, spreading her wide in a perfect tableau of submission. The Spider leaned in, fanged teeth grazing her throat — just a whisper of pain, a lover's bite, enough to pierce skin and let the blood bloom in dark, slow rivulets down her chest. She didn't need much — just a taste, a single drop of that chaotic, untamed essence. This one couldn't be broken, no, and Lolth didn't want her broken.

Lolth's fingers trailed lazily along Katya's skin, dipping into the dark, crimson rivulets trickling from the punctures on the werewolf's neck, the warm blood painting her claws in sinuous strokes. Slowly, deliberately, she dragged her hand across Katya's chest, smearing the slick, glistening crimson over pale skin in languid, serpentine patterns.

Katya was her canvas, her plate, her masterpiece, her feast. The Spider's tongue flicked out, tasting the blood that stained the werewolf's skin, savoring the rich, metallic flavor as it lingered on her lips. Each drop, each smear, only deepened the thrill, a twisted delight in the mess she'd created. The thrill of it — this perfect blend of beauty and brutality-was everything Lolth craved.

jinx’s  mind  flickered  with  images  from  her  past  as  she  stood  before  the  imposing  presence  of  lolth.  the  memories  clawed  at  her,  each  one  sharper  than  the  last.  the  snickers  of  her  sisters  echoed  in  her  ears,  their  mocking  laughter  cutting  deeper  than  any  blade.

“ you’ll  never  be  one  of  us,  jinx.  leave  the  swords  to  the  real  drow. ” “ go  ahead,  play  your  little  games.  maybe  one  day  someone  will  take  you  seriously...  by  mistake. ”

she  had  tried  to  laugh  it  off,  to  cover  the  hurt  with  her  usual  cheerful  façade.  she’d  spun  dazzling  illusions  to  distract  herself,  to  convince  herself  she  didn’t  need  their  approval.  but  even  the  brightest  illusions  couldn’t  mask  the  sting  of  rejection.  her  own  family  had  called  her  weak,  strange,  unworthy  of  the  house’s  name.

for  years,  she  had  clung  to  the  dream  of  being  like  drizzt  do'urden.  a  rebel,  a  hero,  someone  who  could  rise  above  the  venomous  webs  of  drow  society  and  prove  that  she  was  different.  but  standing  here,  beneath  the  dark,  all-seeing  gaze  of  the  spider  queen,  a  new  clarity  dawned  on  her.

why  run?  why  hide?  why  seek  the  approval  of  those  who  would  never  see  her  worth?

her  lips  curled  into  a  slow,  sinister  smile  as  the  fire  of  vengeance  ignited  in  her  chest.  no,  she  didn’t  need  to  flee  like  drizzt.  she  didn’t  need  to  be  a  hero.  she  could  carve  her  own  path,  one  where  they  would  never  dare  look  down  on  her  again.

“ my  queen, ” she  began,  her  voice  honeyed  yet  sharp  as  a  blade,  “ you’ve  watched  me,  haven’t  you?  watched  as  they  spat  on  me,  mocked  me,  cast  me  aside  as  nothing  more  than  a  shadow.  they  think  me  weak.  but  shadows,  mother  of  spiders,  are  where  your  power  thrives,  aren’t  they? ”

she  stepped  forward,  her  illusions  swirling  around  her,  shifting  and  coiling  like  predators  ready  to  strike.  her  tone  grew  darker,  her  grin  more  wicked.

“ why  should  i  run  from  them  when  i  can  make  them  bow?  i’ll  show  them  the  strength  they  refused  to  see.  i’ll  become  more  than  they  could  ever  dream—a  matriarch  greater  than  any  in  my  family’s  history.  when  they  see  my  shadow  darken  their  halls,  they  will  tremble.  when  they  hear  my  name  whispered,  they  will  fall  to  their  knees,  begging  for  mercy  i  will  not  grant. ”

her  voice  dropped  to  a  venomous  whisper,  her  glowing  eyes  fixed  on  lolth’s.

“ and  all  of  it,  my  queen,  will  be  in  your  honor.  give  me  your  blessing,  and  i  will  make  the  underdark  itself  sing  of  my  vengeance. ”

the  illusions  around  her  solidified  into  a  towering  image  of  a  throne,  wreathed  in  shadows  and  spider  silk,  a  vision  of  the  power  she  craved.  jinx  knelt  before  lolth,  her  head  bowed  but  her  resolve  unshakable.

“ amuse  you?  oh,  my  queen,  i’ll  do  far  more  than  that.  i’ll  reshape  the  web  of  our  world, so  that  all  who  walk  the  depths  may  tremble  at  your  glory.  your  name  will  be  whispered  with  fear  and  reverence,  as  even  the  most  defiant  will  bow  before  your  power,  knowing  that  all  things,  even  their  fate,  are  woven  by  your  hand. ”

The goddess extended a hand, her fingers dancing through the air as if plucking unseen threads. Shadows thickened, coiling around her, twisting into a swirling mass that pulsed with otherworldly power. “You amuse me, my child. And for that, you shall bear my favour.” She flicked her wrist, and from the writhing darkness emerged a sigil, glowing faintly in the form of a spider’s mark. It hovered in front of Jinx, waiting for her touch.

Lolth’s eyes glittered with dark amusement as she observed the little drow before her. Power was such a fragile gift, after all. To Jinx, it would feel intoxicating, transformative — a tool to reshape the world, to climb higher, to carve fear into the hearts of the unworthy. But Lolth’s true intention was far less benevolent. The blessing was a web of its own, spun not to uplift but to entangle. She bestowed it not out of generosity, but out of a burning curiosity to watch how swiftly Jinx would spiral into ruin, how the weight of her newfound strength would crush her under her own ambition. The chaos she would unleash in her rise and inevitable fall — alliances broken, blood spilled, relationships torn apart — would be the sweetest spectacle. Lolth fed on that destruction, that discord, her fingers twitching with glee at the thought of Jinx thrashing in the snare of her own making. To empower a mortal was not to elevate them — it was to offer them the means of their own undoing, all while Lolth savored every delicious moment.

“Go now, my ranger,” Lolth murmured, her tone dripping with cruel delight. “With this blessing, summon a spider of monstrous size — your companion and enforcer of my will. Let it crawl forth from the web to crush those who dare defy you. Or me. Let them learn what it means to tremble before my glory.”

It drifted toward the tiefling's neck, wrapping around it with a soft, almost seductive grace. With a flick of Lolth's wrist, the thread tightened and curled, drawing the creature closer.

The Spider places a finger under her chin, delicately tilting her head upwards, lowering her massive body to face the mortal at the same level, inspecting her, savouring her earthy scent.

KATYA USUALLY TOOK HER RESPONSIBILITIES LIGHTLY, but not this time. Not here, not now. When a pretty, monstrous lady tells her to be entertaining - how can she not take that responsibility seriously? Even if she hadn't seen what Lolth had done to those who displeased her, she would still want to please.

So when the thread yanked her closer and Lolth's finger tilted her head upwards, she couldn't help but let out a dreamy little sigh, head tilting into her touch as she was inspected.

She hoped she met those expectations.

She was fairly confident that she did. After all, she could heart the goddess taking in her scent and seemingly be pleased by it. Which made her own heart thump harder in her chest. Her silver gaze taking in Lolth in turn, looking upon her massive body with awe. She smelled like the underdark, reminded her of the pleasant calm of the darkness and the soft glow of the flora within it. She'd purr if she could, but alas, she wasn't a werecat, just a werewolf.

There is not.

HER TAIL IS ALREADY WAGGING, her face covered in a cheerful grin. After all, her arrogance was warranted, wasn't it? If even a goddess gave her attention?

"Well, I'd say I've done a pretty nice job of it."

Phalar Aluve shrieked in the presence of Eilistraee's wicked mother, gripped tight in Amalica's hands as she eyed the Spider Bitch with no shortage of contempt and perhaps just a bit of fear.

A smile surges in the spider's lips, eyes gleaming as Amalica brandishes that cursed sword. Ah, the defiance, the recklessness, the bloodlust! Would the drow be tempted to bury that blade in her own creator's chest? Ah, the thrill! It was all so, so... ENTERTAINING!

"Bold of you to assume I hold no place in your heart, when every waking moment is consumed by thoughts of me. Every step you take, every choice you make — it all revolves around my rule. Deny it all you like, but the truth is plain: I made you. I carved you into what you are, and even now, I CONTINUE TO MOLD YOU. You are mine, in mind, in spirit, in everything."
