sorry for the large post but so thrilled with how good the aquaman 2025 run is going. even more thrilled at this moment in the comic that so many people are seeing and im seeing comments on it where people are like " i was not familiar with aquamans game'. if there is ANYTHING about me i will ALWAYS make these misunderstood charas my fave . the charas who people think are boring? MINE.

he had been listening to issue and topic after topic amongst many appointments.  kelp farms. his thoughts on a new pavilion the kingdom. word from coastal land cities. while he cared deeply for his people and their continued joyful way of life ... it wasn't the same when the throne next to him was empty.  mera was gone handling business in some other ocean . and oh how he missed her.  HER SMILE.   her knowing looks on certain topics. her input. her hand on his as they listened to the word of the people... he could only sigh on her eventual return. until finally there she was !

❝  oh mera.  ❞  arthur sees her coming from the roof of the royal forum room. finally she returns from the surface !  in her swimming descent towards him she covers he sun but arthur hardly notices . she was brighter ... despite how rude it was, arthur swam up from his throne mid discussion to embrace her. they spun in the water like dolphins with such grace. all he could do was pepper her face in kisses all over. ❝   i've missed you dearly.  ❞

❝   that's enough out of you robin hood...      EVERYONE  knows if nemo was a documentary marlin would have become female and assumed the role of mother and dominant female upon his fish wife's death. do you know   ANYTHING    about the ocean ? ❞      somewhere arthur mutters even a child would know this.

HER HAND WITHIN HIS.    none would know hers was more fatal than his own ...   but she held his own with love and trust. not knowing where he was taking her yet she followed with   full blind trust. love sure was a feeling and bond that could not be explained by words. yet, he understood it fully with her.

he turned over his shoulder looking at her. his ceruleans smile with his own grin ... smile lines that he gained in this marriage of bliss. that grin turns to a smirk. from his work with the justice league, to ruling, to land and sea politics, it was always mera who brought out the playfulness in him. ( for a serious man he was, she seemed to bring out everything in him. )    ❝   oh,    is that excitement i hear  ?    ❞   he   jokes,   knowing shes asking out of pure curiosity.

arthur stops once he arrives at a ticket master.   its only after the king buys two humble wrist brands for himself and   his queen  and they enter a gate does he finally turn to her. ❝   it's called a fair,   dearest.  ❞  around them was family's, locals mostly.   this was no amusement park, just a humble amnesty bay county fair. there was small roller coasters,    a merry go around,    a ferris wheel,   and many tents from games to food.    ❝ my father use to bring him here when i was a boy.   i  want to share it with you,    mera.   and i intend to start by winning you the biggest teddy bear your eyes have ever seen, this way ! ❞
