Yay, you found the pinned post! Where do I begin... Hmmm... Oh yes!

I'm your OP! You can call me Autumn. I'm also accustomed to being called KAS (The acronym to my main blog. I honestly like this name more!) I use she/her or they/them, whichever! I consider myself to be very whimsical, and I'm sure we'll make good friends!

My main is @thekoopalingsandstuffs . I will always be a Mario/Koopalings/Broodals fan girl at heart <3 (I have three additional alts for them, if you're interested)

This is Princess, my pride and joy! You'll probably be seeing her a lot. I love randomly inserting my daughter into posts <3 As well as Midnight, Buttercup, and Sully.

I am a minor! So don't be harassing me with NSFW stuff! I actually AM okay with explicit asks and regularly handle mature themes on my other blogs! Just, don't get TOO inappropriate. Don't push it.

This is a character ask blog. I prefer that the asks be... Y'know. QUESTIONS. I've had problems before with people teasing or bullying characters, chatting casually, playing games through asks or generally not treating the ask feature as intended.

I can be kind of picky about asks, lol... I also don't do role play through asks. And please remember that the CHARACTERS are the focus. Characters CAN form friendships with regulars, though...!

I've only ever had to block ONE person... (The situation got pretty bad.) I will probably let you know the first time if an ask doesn't "work." Past that, I'll likely just ignore and delete. Some people are very lax about nonsense asks? I am not. And I don't want nonsense asks to become all I receive.

Not EVERY CHARACTER is available for asks. Unless stated otherwise, the only askable characters are Captain Barnacles, Kwazii, Tweak, Peso, Dashi, Inkling, Shellington, and the Vegimals. AKA, the show's main cast.

I really hope this all doesn't make me come off as rude/unreasonable. This is just how I'd like things to be—I'm definitely much more lenient than you might think!

All I believe is that everyone deserves the right to happiness, and anyone who believes others shouldn't be happy for superficial reasons is not welcome here.

I'm kinda sorta thinkin' about drawing them as humans but we'll seeeee... I feel like that just never turns out right.

Kwazii, in my AU, is very much a child at heart. It's a complicated situation—He didn't grow up with other kids around on the ship, but being a PIRATE, he could pretty much do whatever he wanted(?) Lots of fun times were had, and he kinda sorta never grew up!

Kids love him, and he loves kids. "Why shouldn't you be allowed to do [insert thing here]? It's FUN!" He's impulsive, chasing thrills, and will allow anything if it leads to joy.

Why are they running? I dunno! You decide.

I watched it yesterday with my friend. We watched Caves of Sac Actun and were about to watch Ring of Fire when he pointed out that this thing came out first, so... We watched it!

And... What do I say about this thing?? This isn't a movie, this is a 50-minute episode with songs. Of course, being two teenagers, we're going to be cracking jokes at whatever we're watching, but we could NOT take this one seriously.

It just felt very directionless? Characters and plots introduced that went nowhere. And the first however many minutes were spent on some creatures who are NOT the Octonauts! And the musical aspect, lmao. The villain's song was the best- But y'know? Kwazii gets a few solos, Peso & Barnacles do, but most of the songs are sung by the random sea creatures and not. Octonauts. Why don't the others get solos? I wanna hear Shellington sing. :< Not to mention that one Barnacles singing part that did NOT sound like Barnacles- *Cough*

It felt like a fever dream—Like we were watching something we weren't supposed to see. I have always loved Octonauts, and it was odd watching something that wasn't... Uh. Good.

What are y'all's thoughts on it...?

According to my AU, yes! (I don't believe she exists in canon.)

(I'm sure they've played Mario Party, yes, but Mario KART is the more popular choice)

All of the videogame stuff is in Tweak's room. She's been obsessed with gaming since she was a young girl and can kick ANYONE'S ass. Were someone to have a FRACTION of her skill, MAYBE the games could get heated, but not really.

Peso and Dashi are probably decent at games, on account of them both having had sibling(s) to play with. Neither are anywhere near as good as Tweak, of course. And neither are competitive. Just here to have fun!

Shellington is a similar case, having played many games with Pearl. That being said, in Mario Kart, he is SINGLE-HANDEDLY keeping Lakitu employed.

Kwazii, the ex-pirate, grew up without all this cool tech. He enjoys being included and mashing buttons to see what happens, but does not know HOW to play.

Inkling and Barnacles are too old. Were they to play, they'd be asking questions the entire time. They prefer to watch the kiddies and cheer them on. "Are ya winnin', son?"

Given that your (old?) style has the team in full couture, what does everyone look like in their pjs/swimsuits? (I am aware some of them have canon pjs, I want to see if this changes with the fully-dressed thing)

My artsyle has always been more oriented around stubby little characters... Why didn't I try to ACTUALLY imitate the show's style earlier? I like this!
