I had such a blast working on my pieces for the Wanderer Planner! It was really interesting balancing a muted color balette with the bright golds and taking inspiration from medieval filigree and decorative drawings! Anyone that knows me knows that those swirls and details are right up my alley :p

Merging together various studies in the shape of another draw-this-in-your-style! I needed something inspiring to give me some purpose for some studies I was wanting to do, and then came across this amazing dtiys from @audreeillustrations that really got the creativity flowing! Had a lot of fun working on her! The reference I used comes from Senshistock, I just loved the joyfulness and grace it has, and it is so fitting! Prompt can be found here, I recommend taking a look! I'm very excited to share this draw-this-in-your-style! It took me SO LONG to finish up this dtiys, but I'm very happy that I've finally done so! It was such a great challenge, the composition gave me a lot of trouble and it took me a while to arrive at one I really enjoyed, but I'm very happy with the way it turned out :)

I did some horse head studies! Really enjoyed doing them. Especially the ones where I’m starting to try and push the colors more instead of copying the realistic colors. I’ve been wanting to get better at vibrant colors for a while and this seems to be a fun way to do it!

I’m participating in a low energy challenge this inktober season! Every three days I’m tackling some art basics to just connect to the roots again. This is the fifth one of course! I didn’t end up able to finish the full challenge because of study reasons- so I ended up taking my time uploading these :p

After the lovely elephant I uploaded last week a friend of mine joked that I should do a giraffe next- and you know what? Why not!
Douns a ref that was just too great, and hey, now the elephant has a fun little companion piece!
Painted a couple weeks back as a gift for my recently graduated and very skilled artist friend @ingevr!
Course I had to draw her a baby elephant with a bit of a twist :p And some references to her recent stream works which have quite the intriguing story going! Recommend checking it out!

i had the sure this past weekend to do my first draw-this-in-your-style challenge! And it was a lot of fun, I definitely want to find the time to do more of these!
I especially enjoy getting to take a bust or headshot and coming up with a full illustration around it. I really wanted to get some visual storytelling in this time too, hope I succeeded and hope you like it!

A couple weeks back I finally got a chance to do something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time- draw this again!
I chose my blacksmith badass Elcinnea in her alternative design, especially because I still enjoy that one quite a bit. Before I started I wasn’t actually sure if I’d be able to show any improvement at all, but I must say that I’m super stoked about how she came out!

I was posting the preparation sketches here months ago- this is the eventual result illustration I came up with! . A solumn forest guardian with Ninetales and Xerneas influences in it.

It’s been a while- but I did another speedpaint! This one was a little simpler except that I went and shot myself in the foot with the light situation lmao.
Always a pleasure working with @atticmonster‘s characters and Gavy is no different. I’m especially happy with the freckles and that top fin this time.
I’m redesigning one of my oldest characters! First set of ideas on hair and ears. I’m probably going to go with the third ear-type. Hair I’ll be iterating on in silhouette first!
