So the new Mystery skulls animated video came out the other day,  “Freaking Out”, and I noticed that there were a lot of people that seemed to be confused about what was happening, which is understandable, considering how so much happens in the animation within a span of a few minutes. Since it’s such a complex video to follow, I’m here to clear up some misunderstandings (don’t quote me on anything, since this is just my Analysis of the video after watching it a million times). As the video progresses, it becomes more and more difficult to understand the events that transpire, so I’m only hear to clear up the main plot and clear things up as much as possible to my understanding.

I just want to make a few things clear right out of the gate.

-One, the Plant Lady’s name is “Shiromori”. -Two, she did NOT revive Lewis. He just got upset when she touched his heart, and chose to step in to give her a beatdown.

-Three, this is a SEQUAL to Ghost, not a prequel.

-And four, Shiromori’s powers aren’t Voodoo, per se, although I suppose it could be classified under such. It would appear that her powers involve creating flowers, which she can use to track down certain individuals. The flowers seem to require certain circumstances to bloom, and some are harder to create than others, which is why she had to depend on Lewis’s heart (which Mystery has had direct contact with) to create Mystery’s flower in the first place so that she could track him down.

But I’m getting ahead of myself. 

The video starts off with Shiromori popping out of the ground in front of a cave, and when she enters inside, it’s clear that this is the same cave where Lewis kicked the bucket. Behind her, we see a green arm, which crawls off after seeing Shiromori pop out of the ground. It’s safe to assume that it is the same arm that Arthur had to cut off because it had become possessed, and killed Lewis, since its not only the same color as his possesed hand, but also has the same bracelet that Arthur wore. Once inside the cavern, we see Shiromori using her powers to grow a red flower out of her hand, which quickly withers away. As I stated before, Shiromori seems to have the ability to create flowers that are connected to specific individuals, and the flowers she creates are attracted to the person they are tied to, like magnets. But to create these flowers, it seems certain circumstances need to be met, and the more powerful the being, the harder it becomes to create the flower needed.

    Shiromori came to the cave because it was a place where the Mystery Skulls gang had strong connections to, and therefore should have been able to make a strong flower from this location. But despite being in the cave, the flower refuses to stabilize, and this makes Shiromori very upset. After throwing a hissy fit and turning around to leave, she senses an aura coming from the spot Lewis fell, and creates a flower out of it.   She realizes that the flower belongs to Lewis, so she follows the petals to Lewis’s heart, which is lying in the spot where the ghost house from the first video once stood. Now, Lewis has been sleeping for a while, and isn’t too happy that some random chick has decided to wake him up. 

Shiromori shows up to the scene of the crime and uses Lewis’s heart to recreate several other flowers of all the people who have come in contact with the heart, including Arthur, Vivi, and Lewis himself. But she doesn’t need those fuckers so she just cuts the flowers off her hand and tries one more time, using all of the power she can manage, to create the red flower from earlier. But this time, the flower is stable and doesn’t whither. 

We see that this flower belongs to the dog, Mystery, and clearly she’s more than happy that she finally got the flower she was working her butt off to get. Lewis on the other hand, isn’t too happy that this little shit has taken his precious item, so he shows up and gives her a beatdown, punching her head clean off. He takes back his heart, but Shiromori takes this as a challenge and grows her head back, eager to fight. 

So shiromori and Lewis are about to throw down, but Shiromori realizes that if the flower gets damaged, then she’ll have no way of tracking down Mystery, so she blows on the petals and follows them to mystery, leaving Lewis to his thoughts. He takes the time to look at his broken heart, and notices the flowers on the ground, and how Vivi’s flower seems to want to go to her, as it inches in her general direction. He picks it up, reminiscing about his lover, and he then notices Arthers flower on the floor, and still pissed off at him, Lewis stomps on Arthurs flower. Immediately, the scene cuts to Arthur sitting in the Mystery Skulls van on his computer, and he clearly felt the flower getting stomped on, and he’s kind of…. FREAKING OUT about it. ( ͡º ͜ʖ ͡º) 

Anyways, his paranoia is getting to him, considering how he’s up late at night on his computer tracking down Lewis. Mystey wakes up, and we get our first look at Mystery’s real form.

Now, I’d like to take a moment to point out Arthurs computer desktop. We see Arthur, Vivi, Lewis, and Mystery on it, as well as several other characters. I’ll say here and now that the two adults in the back are Lewis’s adoptive parents, and the two younger girls are likely Lewis’s younger sisters. Most of the characters on Arthurs desktop have information on them on MysteryBen’s tumblr. We see that Lewis starts to fade from the desktop, and his sillouhette glows a purple color. There are theories and speculation about this, but I’m only here to talk about the facts that I can back up, so we’ll leave that alone for now. 

Anyhow, lets move on.

So this is the part of the video I’m slightly confused about as well, but I’ll try my best to explain what I know. So Arthur freaks out when he sees Mystery’s true form, and Mystery is giving him a disapproving look after seeing Arthurs computer desktop, and Arthurs arm starts to malfunction, possibly from Mystery’s power. While Mystery is staring him down, he appears to hear a sound nearby, as we see his ear twitching slightly. Arthur also seems to have heard the noise, and freaks out about it after throwing his computer up and grabbing his Mechanical arm. His computer lands on his head and he passes out. This wakes Vivi up, who quickly goes back to sleep because she is 100% done with this bullshit. Once Vivi falls back asleep, a red petal falls in front of mystery, which is part of the same flower that Shiromori blew earlier, and he realizes that Shiromori has found him, and starts to panic. 

Back with Lewis, he removed the petals to Vivi’s flower and placed them in his heart, mending it, and allowing him to find Vivi wherever she is. So he leaves the yard, and a truck transporting what seems to be some sort of Chicken related cargo drives by and hits him. Lewis takes this opportunity to possess the truck and the driver (whose name is “Rooster”) bails, as the truck is transformed to Lewis’s preference, because if he’s going to haunt Arthur, he might as well do it in style. Lewis takes the driver’s seat and floors the gas, and the video cuts off there.
