Every time I re log in on Tumblr, it is to address a new obsession.

I'm a collection of my experiences.

We all confine try to confine ourselves to certain aesthetics and ideals and even single out of the blue thing startles us.

I, for one want to be an addicted to rock bands, intellectual tv shows, literature wannabe person who loves astronomy and education.

But there are times that nothing conforms to anything. Most of the times we're told that intelligent and beautiful don't go simultaneously. And that kind of thing builds up forever your life making it actually true. And how can it be any different, you've imagined it your whole life. And thus it's true, society wins, Society : 1 You : 0

But the society is also just in your head, whatever you keep telling yourself is what society is going to be telling you.

So I was taking this moment to remind myself that I can be beautiful and I can do Math and I can love Green Day and Dan and Phil at the same time. It doesn't matter if a romantic life don't appeal to me and all I care about is a well lived future.

And so I wanted to write this to tell myself a few things

I'm so immensely proud of @danielhowell for coming out and having the courage to accept his past.

Nothing will change though, he was and will always be that quirky British YouTuber who makes jokes about death and whom we oh-so-dearly love.
