Two headcanons for your muse that you’ve never told anyone:

1. Izzy is intersex. Izzy was assigned female at birth, but they have never accepted that label without resistance. They identify as nb. Their twin Reuel was also intersex, assigned male. Reuel also identified as nb, but accepted both he/they pronouns.

2. Izzy was engaged once. At their parents’ bidding, they almost went through with the wedding, but they ran away the night before. Their fiance was a well off noble from their city who was a good person, fully dedicated to taking care of Izzy. But underlying this, his reasons for wanting to marry Izzy were less than ideal. He had previously been involved with Reuel before his untimely death, and thus marrying Izzy was his way of memorializing Reuel. If they had married, Izzy would have lived in the shadow of their dead twin forever.
