Got around to inking this Appledash comic based off of Somie’s Krusie comic. I love “ the last two brain cells” duos, they fuel me.

Also, I LOVE your art (it's your art right?) I love love love it very much and seeing your posts on my dash makes my day a little better :D

For my fellow rarijackdashers, why can’t AJ have both? We can all get along 💖

I don’t really ship rarijack, but I can totally ship them with dash. I think dash is a solid glue that makes the dynamic so much more interesting. I think the 3 of them challenge and build off of each other a lot.

I’d like to picture it starting with AJ and Rarity as a very chill couple with some quirky couple hijinks mostly from Rarity. But they’re ultimately secretive and private about their relationship. And so Dash would confess to AJ not knowing that AJ was already taken. But then AJ used to have a crush on Dash but didn’t think it would ever happen. Rarity pursued AJ -since AJ is deathly allergic to taking the first move- and AJ went with it to try it out since she’d never been with a mare or anyone really before and Rarity is a friend so if it doesn’t work out they can talk it out. Rarity is also really pretty, another reason for AJ. And so when Dash confesses, AJ is stuck feeling conflicted about being with Rarity but also kind of wanting to be with Dash. AJ and Rarity have a good healthy talk about it and then come to the idea of a throuple. AJ was worried about it since she didn’t want to end up picking a favorite even if it was subconsciously, and if this blows up then all of their friendships with each other are in jeopardy, and yada, yada. Anxious baby AJ. And then I picture Rarity being really curious and excited about the idea. Anyway, they go to Dash, ask her out, and Dash is like fuck yeah! She’s firstly surprised that Rarity and AJ are dating, but doesn’t really care much after a second since not only did she finally get the bad bitch of her dreams, but another bad bitch on top of that. So Dash is flying high and mostly focused on how awesome this all is, while AJ is a bundle of nerves.

From that point I imagine that AJ and Dash’s relationship would be more cute and wholesome as both of them become more vulnerable with each other. I also picture AJ feeling guilty whenever she spends time with Dash alone even though Rarity knows and they’re a throuple now. AJ feels like she’s betraying Rarity by choosing Dash even if it’s for a day or couple of hours. I also think Dash deep down also feels guilty about inserting herself into their relationship but trusts that they would tell her if they began to feel uncomfortable with her and wanted to go back to just the two of them. I think Dash and Rarity’s relationship would actually be pretty calm. With AJ and Dash it’s two people who did like each other for a long time, they just didn’t know how to put it into words and now that they’re together they’re kinda like two high school kids being shy and nervous about how to go about their relationship.

But with Dash and Rarity, AJ’s inexperience is put on full blast, cause Dash and Rarity are just a power couple and it just works great. I could honestly see AJ have a twinge of jealousy over how great the two of them are getting along. Like Dash has had a bunch of “relationships” and one night stands in the past, she’s went around the block. Rarity is a bit more particular about who courts her, but has had a couple relationships throughout her life. And so the two of them just spark, Dash is flirtatious but also charming and polite. And Rarity is getting a little bit sillier and playful. This confuses the hell out of AJ, but she’s glad they’re getting along and the throuple is working. Rarity is just happy to be with both of them, she’s kinda in the mindset of “I can fix them” or “I’ll tame these butches”. She’s really happy and satisfied to see how her relationship with AJ has changed for the better since they’ve been dating and same with Dash. She likes how she’s seeing this side to both of them that neither of them have really ever shown to anyone before.
