When BB talks about jealousy, he basically says jealousy is having something that belongs to you taken away. Then he immediately says MC doesn't belong to him.

Likewise, his definition of giving up is interesting. To him, giving up means you've lost but you're still trying to win. If you genuinely stop wanting to win, then in his mind, that's not giving up anymore.

So if MC truly rejected him because she found him creepy or simply didn't want him, I don't think he'd force himself into her life in the way people usually imagine.

At least, not directly. After all, BB is an incredibly sneaky person. We rarely know what he's doing until after the fact.

The clearest confirmed fact is simply this. He doesn't move on.

But "not moving on" and "forcing himself on her" aren't the same thing, and I think the story intentionally keeps those ideas separate.

Everything about BB's characterization so far leans much more toward restraint than aggression, especially when it comes to MC.

He's repeatedly portrayed as someone who'd rather die than hurt her.

That doesn't necessarily mean he'd respect her wishes by disappearing completely. If anything, I think it'd mean the opposite.

He'd keep orbiting her life, watching from a distance, quietly showing up whenever she needs help, and protecting her from things she may never even know about.

He'd still be there, just not in a way that involves physically forcing himself into her life.

Now, does that mean his behavior would be healthy? Definitely not.

Characters like BB, whether you want to call him yandere or simply deeply possessive, aren't usually written with the idea that one rejection flips a switch and suddenly they move on.

The tension comes from the fact that his love doesn't really have an off switch.

He struggles to accept rejection emotionally, not because he thinks MC owes him anything, but because he genuinely can't stop loving her.

That said, I also think Laly has been very clear with BB's slow burn development.

She mentioned there's still a lot about him we haven't discovered yet, and his character has never jumped straight into extreme behavior without a reason.

Everything escalates gradually.

So I don't think MC simply rejecting him or being afraid of him would be enough for him to suddenly become violent or completely unreasonable.

What might push him further is something more complicated.

For example, if MC rejected him harshly while continuing to let other men mistreat or take advantage of her, I could see that becoming much harder for him to process.

From BB's perspective, it'd probably feel contradictory.

"You think I'm dangerous... but you're willing to trust people who are actually hurting you?"

I think that kind of situation would create much more internal conflict for him than the rejection itself.

So when Laly says he won't let go, I don't picture physical force.

I picture something more unsettling.

His entire identity revolves around being useful to the people he loves. He expresses control through caretaking, not through physically dominating someone. That's why I think forcing MC into something against her will would contradict one of the core ideas of his character, that he'd rather die than knowingly hurt her.

So no, I don't think he'd intentionally hurt MC or force her into a relationship she doesn't want. But I also don't think he'd let go that easily.

He'd probably continue acting like her guardian, even if she wanted nothing to do with him. He'd just become less subtle about it.

Almost like a stray dog that's already decided you're its person.

"You don't like me? That's okay. I'm still making sure you get home safe."

"You can try to chase me away, but once a dog decides you're its owner... good luck changing its mind."

Just some completely unrelated nonsense because he physically cannot be normal for five minutes.

I also get the feeling that if he's spent a lot of time around kids, there's a decent chance he's already had random doodles all over his arms before and just let them go wild. He'd probably look down at his arm covered in scribbles and go "Damn... guess I'm a masterpiece now."

One thing, though, Lane is ticklish around his stomach and lower ribs. If you tried drawing there, he'd probably start laughing, squirming away, and swearing like an absolute maniac while trying not to accidentally elbow you.

Then, once you're done, he'd look at your drawing, nod very seriously, and go "Aight. My turn."
