When there was a will, there was a way. If Frisk had nothing else, they certainly carried an abundance of DETERMINATION ā and with that, they felt compelled to push themself to do anything.
It was that quality, that part of them that brought them to induce enough magic to bring them to another timeline.
Theyāre still not quite sure themself of how they managed it. One moment they stood with Toriel and with their skeleton friends; the next, they wound up next to a windowsill, wobbling on their feet, arms pinwheeling as they sought to regain their balance. Either way, it took them moments to regain their composure as they took in the elaborate household, placed themself within a large room. They felt small placed within it, with the room stretching out to a door that led into a hallway; and they could tell that this was a big house. Far bigger than the house that they took up residence in back in their own timeline, as well as the one that they were born in. It was, well⦠A little overwhelming.
*Did it work
Their face swept through the room itself, taking note of the various Christmas decorations strung up to and fro in the form of lights framing the ceiling and the doorframe, until theyĀ detected a certain flower, situated carefully on the windowsill they noticed earlier. A very certain flower within a flowerpot.
They knew what this flower was.
*Flowey!
At first, hearing the sudden voice from behind him, Flowey thought for a split second that it was simply his own Frisk. Carelessly, he might not have bothered to turn away from the window he had been staring vacantly out of - were it not for the words that came from the other.
What reason had his timelineās hero, after all, to wonder if something had worked? Teeth still clenched tight around the pen that he used as a stylus with which to browse the internet (Though he hadnāt been doing so previously, he wasnāt exactly going to drop it into the soil of his pot and subsequently end up eating dirt if he could help it, thanks.), the individual that had been name-dropped twisted his stem, head turning to meet Friskās gaze.
āOh,ā He mumbled, voice slightly indistinct from the muffling effect of keeping his fangs clenched still. āItās you. Howdy, Frisk, or whatever.ā
His stare dropped, eye contact broken as his area of survey drifted, taking in the other in their entirety with a tired regard.
āI suppose you found out how to hop through timelines after all.āĀ
Almost defiantly, Flowey straightened up to his full height, staring them right in the face yet again while his petals fanned out just the slightest bit. His stance could not have been more battle-ready if he tried, though it was debatable how menacing it looked at all; especially considering the pointer still stubbornly held in his mouth, a comical addition to what was already not the most terrifying of faces he could have mustered.
Eyes narrowing into a squint at the human, he audibly huffed out his challenge.
āGuess youāre finally here to fight me āIRLā like you said, huh. Letās do it, then. I can take you on, even WITHOUT being able to dodge like you do.ā
