Your f/o's would be so patient with you, no matter what. Whether you're a little slow, a bit absent minded, forgetful in any way, or accident prone. It started off with you laying together, deciding to get cozied up while catching up with you favorite show, of doing a quick rewatch of some of your favorite movies, but the way they kept on rubbing your back and lovingly placing kisses to the top of your head just make everything feel so warm and relaxing.

You couldn't help but nod off in their arms, and they didn't mind whatsoever! In fact, getting to see you this at ease while being close to them makes their heart feel soft and warm, they just want to make sure you're always able to feel this safe and loved when they're around.

If they need to get up, they'll wait it off for as long as possible, your rest is their number one priority right now, besides… You just look so cute! How could they ever get themselves to bother you? It'd be like taking a cat off your lap while they're napping, outrageous!

The show/movie quickly becomes background noise to them, getting to hear your steady breathing and watching your cute expressions is far more fascinating to your f/o! It makes them wonder what you're dreaming about… They'll make sure to ask about it later.

Once you manage to wake yourself up, they'll hold on to you just a bit tighter, they want to stay as close to you as possible! They ask how you've slept in between peppering kisses to your face, as well as cooing about how adorable you looked.

As you ramble on about your dreams or how well rested you feel, they can't help but let their smile grow wider and wider. They can't wait to spend the rest of your lives together, with many more calm times like this.

If your disability was "self-caused", your f/o doesn't care. While people may blame you for acquiring your disability, like smoking causing your asthma or substance use causing your memory issues, your f/o isn't one of those people.

Life is so fucking hard. Nobody is perfect. Not every story of disability acquisition is a noble and valor filled one. We are just humans trying to survive and your f/o knows that. They know what struggles you've went through and they're so proud of you for still trying every day.

They love you so much and would do anything to help you with your disability, without guilt tripping or shaming you. Whatever you need, whatever accomodation, whatever help, they will be there, ready and willing. Because you are so so worth it.

Hey, your f/o doesn't think less of you because you can't work because of your disability. They don't think you're lazy or a mooch because you use government assistance like SSI or LCWRA. They don't expect you to "compensate" for your time at home while they're at work by doing errands and chores ; they know you're disabled and don't have to be productive to be worthwhile as a person. Your validity isn't measure by your capital output and they're a firm believer in that.

Never feel ashamed about not working because your f/o surely isn't. They're proud of you for resting and taking care of yourself. That's all they could ever ask of you.

You don't have to have life figured out. Career, school, goals; all of it can be worked on one step at a time. Your f/o doesn't mind helping you figure out what's best for you or to help get your mind off the stress that may come with such important decisions!

You don't have to look a certain way. Fat, thin, muscular, tall, short, average. Your body is perfect to your f/o, not because of how it looked when you met, or how it looks now, but because it's your own. It's perfect because it's a part of you, an ever-changing work of art.

You don't have to always feel at your best. You're allowed to be angry, sad, empty, tired; it doesn't make you any less deserving of your f/o's love and care. They'll always do their best to help you work out your emotions or at least give you something to help you out with it all; whether it be space, a listening ear or a shoulder to cry on.

You don't have to be affectionate all the time. It's okay to have moments, short or long, where affection can be something difficult to muster. Your f/o still loves you and they know that you love them as well!

You don't have to be in the perfect environment. Harsh home life, complicated relationships with friends and/or family, your f/o will have your back no matter what. You'll always be able to rely on them in your darkest hour, and they'll never see you seeking them out as just a need for attention or overly clingy behavior. They're happy to be your safe place, no matter what you may be going through.

You don't have to be anything other than yourself. You don't need to look, act, think, talk, or do anything differently than you normally would! Your f/o's love for you is true and unconditional. They love everything about you, even the parts that you haven't learned to love about yourself yet.

Your f/o loves you for you. Through the best and the worst of it all, they'll stick by your side no matter what! Don't be hard on yourself, you're doing the best you can in your current situation, and that's all that really matters!

There's no unspoken expectations or checklists that your f/o wants you to adhere! You don't have to have a certain appearance, you don't have to force yourself to go through with certain acts, sexual or not, if you don't feel like it. Your f/o is content with whatever you're willing to give them, because it's more than they could ever ask for.

You never have to pretend to be someone or something else for your f/o to care about you! Your own quirks, behaviors and personality are all reasons your f/o loves you to begin with! They couldn't even imagine being with anyone else, so there's absolutely no need to try to make yourself into someone different, because their heart belongs to you, as you are.

You don't have to force your limits and/or boundaries to keep your f/o happy! Even if they're the type to playfully pester you, they'll understand when you firmly stand your ground. They respect you as an equal and a partner.

All your f/o could ever want is you, exactly as you are. No matter how you may view yourself, all the things you consider positive about yourself and all the negatives, to your f/o they're all flawless and priceless. They love you, body, soul, spirit and all that's in-between!
