hello! i am making this new blog because i am someone who is aplatonic! as far as i am aware, aplatonic has two common definitions. 1- feeling little to no platonic attraction 2- struggling with forming and/or keeping platonic relationships (usually because of neurodivergance and/or trauma) i identify with the first one, and that is what this blog will be centered around! i dont feel platonic love, and it has shaped a lot of my experiences and life, and i am thinking about it a lot, so i thought id make this blog for that reason! i will talk about my experiences, reblog aplatonic stuff, and answer any questions people may have about me, aplatonic stuff, or perhaps just miscellanious questions! (feel free to send asks)
a few other things: - the abbreviation of aplatonic is apl! pronounced like apple - aplatonic people can be alloromantic and/or allosexual, its not just an ace/arospec identity - aplatonic is a spectrum, there are things like demiplatonic, greyplatonic, and many more - i am aroace, and feel no platonic attraction whatsoever, so im not as familiar with the different parts of the apl spectrum or being allo and apl, though i will still try to highlight those experiences - i am neurodivergent (autism and likely adhd) and i will be using tone tags sometimes, though im rather bad at realising when i should use them
heres a few apl resources: - aplatonicism 101 https://www.aromanticism.org/en/news-feed/aplatonicism-101

- an aplatonic masterpost https://aromagni.tumblr.com/post/629112378923122688/aplatonic-masterpost/amp i dont expect to be especially active (though i may surprise myself!), but i will be posting and reblogging stuff from time to time
