Aphrodite is also the goddess of aromantic ppl btw. Just cause she’s the goddess of love doesn’t mean she can’t be the goddess of those who don’t feel (or feel little) romantic attraction. Not to mention her role as a goddess of war, a goddess of the sea, and a patron of sailors - found in the epithets Aphrodite Areia, Aphrodite Anadyomene, and Aphrodite Euploia. but even beyond that . She fights Diomedes in the Iliad. And while she loses (and he directly calls her ‘not a warrior’), she’s still participating in war. Her entire birth mythos is about her coming from the sea. Sailors would pray to her for protection. She was also a tutelary god (meaning a god of the city or of a specific place) of Cyprus, Kythera (where she was said to have washed up), and Mount Eryx in Sicily. Also my own name comes from her epithet Aphrodite Androphonos - killer of men. Not to mention she’s the goddess of beauty too!!

This Aphrodite figurine of 3rd-2nd century B.C., a burial gift found in the necropolis of Dardania on Mount Ida.
(English / Español / Italiano)
It has the symbol of Asklepios, the god of medicine and healing in ancient Greek religion, snakes entwined around her left arm and left leg, symbolizing life and death. In Greek mythology, the "Mountain of the Goddess" was Mount Ida in the ancient Troad region of western Anatolia (in modern-day Turkey) which was also known as the Phrygian Ida in classical antiquity and is the mountain that's mentioned in the Iliad of Homer and the Aeneid of Virgil. Both are associated with the mother goddess in the deepest layers of pre-Greek myth, in that Mount Ida in Anatolia was sacred to Cybele, who is sometimes called Mater Idaea ("Idaean Mother").
