Sometimes, when Mei wakes up first, she stays in bed a little longer and observes Lars. He is not a morning person, he wants to sleep more. She gets closer, caresses his hair and gives him a kiss. She feels very lucky to be loved by him. Then she remembers how everything started.

It was a Saturday night of ten years ago. Emma organized a sleepover. Mei was very excited and nervous, it would be very fun, but also, she’d see him. Only thinking of him made her blush and smile like a silly. Of course he would be there; after all, he was Emma’s big brother.

The class finished. Mei was still in the classroom, she was looking through the window while she waited for her boyfriend. That was a very fresh morning, the sky was clear, people were in a good mood, and everything seemed calm. It was a pretty good day.

Lars got in the classroom quietly and took a seat next to her. She was very lost in thought and he didn’t want to interrupt her.

The soft breeze caressed her hair, and he wanted to touch it too. He reached out his arm and by accident, he threw a pencil case, and she gave a jump.

“Lars, you scared me! Why didn’t you tell me you were here?” she protested.

“I’m sorry. I didn’t want… to scary you…” he said, embarrassed because that was exactly what he just did. His face was completely red, until his ears.

Then she looked at him and giggled. She thought he was being too adorable, so she couldn’t get mad at him. She got closer and gave him a kiss on the cheek. He looked away, his face was even redder, but he was happy.

Mei stood up and took her schoolbag. Then she offered him her hand and he took it.

“Let’s go! What if we go to the ice cream parlor?”

Hetalia Rarepairs Week - White day will be starting soon! This event will be running from Monday, March 11th, to Sunday, March 17th.
