The truth is yeah I will ārecoverā, I will gain weight and not be at risk of dying anymore. But I will never look at food the same way. Bc the truth is I donāt know who Iām without my ed. i donāt know how to eat food without counting the calories, I donāt know how to live without counting calories. And the sad thing is I donāt need to anymore I have them all memorised and I canāt look at a peace of food without adding the calories in my head. I will never truly recover
when u realize the reason u trigger urself is probably bcuz u want to be in control- even of ur triggers
Okay so Ik no one asked and wtv but here are some of the wl tips that got me from 200 to 154.
1- set a certain time window where you can eat and also set a time where you have to stop eating. like for example I can have my first meal of the day at 3:00 SHARP and last meal of the day at 10:00. I find that setting time windows makes it easier to restrict.
2- I donāt eat meals because I feel if I do Iāll binge. So instead I eat food. let me explain. so like instead of eating a whole bunch of low calorie things at once and calling it a meal, Iād eat an apple at 4:00, 10 grapes at 6:00, and so on. That makes it so much more easier to not binge because I feel like having a plate full of food in front of me is just going to make me hungrier no matter how much I eat.
3- eat to stay alive donāt eat to satisfy your hunger. I mean like eat so you have enough energy to stand up and take a shower. Not because youāre āhungryā. Remember, hunger=weight loss!
4- Iāve seen people say that āyou can eat whatever you want but just in small portionsā. No. Donāt listen to them. If you eat 5 chips and put the rest of the bag away youāll just end up binging the rest of the chips later. That saying is so fucking stupid. Theyāre just setting you up for a binge. Instead, avoid all junk food altogether. Like none.
5- related to number 5 (and is a sorta obvious one) AVOID JUNK FOODS AT ALL COSTS. That includes, sodas (not the 0 cal ones), chips, fries, burgers, candy, EVERYTHING. anything that labeled āunhealthyā drop it. I also donāt eat meat because Iāve found that it causes you to gain weight. And all in all itās disgusting. But STAY AWAY FROM JUNK FOODS. THEYāRE CALLED JUNK FOODS FOR A REASON. it doesnāt matter If you only have a bag of chips today and nothing else. You couldāve had 5 apples with the calories you just wasted on that junk.
Being fat shamed is just helpful fast motivation.
