Safi stared for a moment, taking her time to enjoy the last drag of her cig before she put it out on the bench next to her.

"You specifically chose to wear those pants, that mane your ass look that good, and you want to ask me what's wrong with them? What's wrong with them is that they're not on my fucking floor right now."

"Grew up here. Kind of don't know a whole lot else. I mean my family used to go on a big vacation once every few years. So I've been to Mexico, and Fiji. We went to Amsterdam once. I don't dislike big cities or anything but this is sort of like... the normal. The base line you come back to. It's home, for better or worse." he shrugged.

“Good question... valid, too! I was telling Katherine something the other day and none of the usual terms sat right with me, so...” Shrugs.

"Please god do not tell me you're talking to Katherine (derogatory) about our sex life..."

Unfortunately for him, she's back! “– Would you break up with me if it meant being able to date the prettiest girl in the world?”

"Why.... would I break up with you just to date you again....?"

“– Do you prefer baby batter or brogurt, when I’m talking about your loads?” Here's a better question: Why are you talking about his loads often enough to warrant a nickname, Rachel?

After a solid ten seconds of choking on his Gatorade... he is now looking at her with the deepest concern.

"Why..... why are... we talking about them at all....?"

The rage bubbled up in Safi's chest before Chloe had even finished her sentence. Fists clench at her sides as she makes it a point to stay at least out of arms reach- otherwise she wouldnt be able to answer without dragging her to the ground and beating her ass first.

"You want to know what my PROBLEM is CHLOE?" Safi scoffed, venom already lacing her words. "How about the fact that I have BUSTED MY ASS trying to be seen by Max and all she seems to care about is YOU. And WHY?" She snapped, jaw clenching.

"I can't figure out WHY. WHY YOU CHLOE? What is it you have that I don't? What made you so much better than me? What made you so special that the moment you walked back into her life I was just... nothing." Abandoned. Again.

"What is so god damned special about you that she looks at EVERYTHING you do like it's gods gift to the world and she only ever looks at me when she's accusing me of starting a fire." Metaphorically... and sometimes literally...

"I have BEGGED for her to see me. Practically crawled on my KNEES to grab her attention. yet you just have to walk into a room and suddenly the whole world is perfect and all Max sees is you."

The venom's gone in that last sentence, it's laced with something much more heart breaking. Pain.

"Tell me what it is... about you, that makes her want you so bad.... tell me how to matter to her... the way that you do..."

Its a sentiment Jinx can understand.

Sometimes life gives you a hard dose of reality and it makes you shed the past you in order to survive. Powder. A name she barely recognizes when it's addressing her. On some level she knows they mean her. That Vi means her. But she's not that girl anymore. She hasn't been for a very long time. So this? This is a concept Jinx is familiar with.

Gun lowers, like a switch flipped, it spins and returns to where it rests when it's not in use.

Do not mistake her being unarmed as not being a threat, but something tells her Caitlyn would never be that stupid.
