I've changed my name and had to go to the doctor's for the blood tests to get HRT (just stating that I'm not American so rest in peace, folks).

Thankfully, the nurse was very understanding and trans supportive.

She started with: "So mum (referring to my mom) has four sons now!" That, ngl, made me smile, so I said: "Yeah, it's like that now."

Then, she stated: "That means she's going to have four daughters-in-law, too!" and seemed very excited about it (she probably imagined a lot of grandkids, too).
