Their Fractured Light is fracturing my heart. 😭 Also, testimony time! My copy of A Court of Mist and Fury arrived a little damaged today so I requested a replacement from Amazon. Only to find out I had to ship the book from Singapore back to the US, which costs at least $60. Cue some intense panicking made worse by the fact that I couldn't find the option to cancel my replacement request. I was basically babbling at Jesus in my head about how I couldn't pay for it and that I'm so annoyed because I gave up running tonight so that I could tidy my bookshelf but now I'm stuck trying to solve this problem. Then Jesus went, "Chill, girly. Check your email." I did. Amazon had emailed me less than a minute prior that I need not mail back the book due to how expensive it would be and that they've already placed on order to ship another copy to me completely free! The moment Jesus responded was when I received the email. Coincidence? Hah. I know better. 😉 Also, kudos to Amazon's great customer service and thanks @mooo_berry for being my model again. ❤️

My brain is like stew. Being an editor is fun but pretty draining too. 🙃 Thanks @xxvampsaddicted for holding the book up for me even though people were staring oddly! I'm also halfway through Their Fractured Light and everything is CRAZY. If anyone dies, I will die too. Have you read the Starbound trilogy? (at ArtScience Museum)

I'm giving up on all of Colleen Hoover's books. I just can't connect with her characters and I've grown out of her style of writing 5 years ago. 🙃 - Are there any authors whose books you simply can't click with? And I'm so glad I can always find a willing model in my little sis. ☺️ Thanks @mooo_berry!

I finished The Rose Society yesterday and it was SO DARK. But I can't wait to find out what happens in The Midnight Star because who knows what Adelina will do next? She's a villain descending into insanity after all. And no, it never stops feeling weird saying & typing Adelina's name when my name is Adelena. 😂

I've been listening to their songs so much for the past few months because their lyrics are on point and so true and relatable! Also, I've finally started reading The Rose Society and while I saw certain things coming, I still can't wait to see how they play out!

This book is more complicated than someone using "it's complicated" as their Facebook relationship status. On the bright side, at least it was a whole lot better than Hopeless because I actually really liked Sydney. She's such a nice girl and to be honest, I don't think Ridge deserves her. For all the talk about Ridge being very loyal and unwavering, he sure seemed rather unsteady and indecisive to me. :/ Three stars for "it's complicated" because reading Maybe Someday made me question Colleen Hoover's and even my own morals about a gazillion times. 🙃 The whole soundtrack that was made for the book was pretty genius though.

Rhysand is crazy amazing and Rhysand is MINE. 🤓 Finally finished ACOTAR and while the beginning was slow, the second half is EPIC. I can't wait for my copy of ACOMAF to arrive because the need to find out what happens next is real. Especially anything concerning Rhysand. Tamlin was cool but Rhysand's the one that stole my wittle heeaaarrt. 😉

It's been a while (4 weeks) and I've been crazy busy with my internship but I'm back! 👋 And hopefully I'll get more chances to bookstagram. 🤓 Btw, those three scoops of ice-cream (salted caramel, earl grey, and honey camomile) were REALLY good. I need to get myself a pint of each! (at Salted Caramel)

I probably need a good dose of contemporary after all the sci-fi & fantasy novels I've been reading but I really need to finish A Court of Thorns and Roses before meeting Sarah J. Maas this Thursday and Friday! Maybe next week then... Have any of you read Colleen Hoover's books? One of my good friends LOVE her and with such gorgeous covers, I'm pretty tempted to start reading her books too.
