“I’m certain.” Lucy said, moving from the chair over to her cousin and reaching out to catch her hand. “Stop fussing – your hair never has a bad day.” She always wished she could get her hair to curl even half as well as Rose’s. Lucy shrugged and a quiet laugh left her lips. “You don’t have to. That’s just the only other time I’ve seen people worry as much as you are, Ro.”
“I’m sorry, you’re right. I’m worrying over nothing.” Rose squeezed Lucy’s hand gently in appreciation, lowering her own hands. “Now we both know you’re lying. That, or, you’ve never seen the results of when I’m caught in the rain.” She teased laughing, she was her mother’s daughter after all, which of course meant that along with curly hair it also meant that she had to deal with frizz. “It’s work. Kind of.” She admitted sheepishly, avoiding eye contact.
