âWell, are you buying or not? I mean, we are here because of you after all.â She teased smiling as if to let him know that she wasnât really upset. The two of them had always had a close bond between them, it was inevitable considering Thea often followed her older brother like a lost puppy during their childhood. âI hate those parties. I always feel like I need to bathe several times once theyâre over.â The admission was filled with embarrassment as the blonde thought of what was happening back at home, including her own behaviour at the parties. Scorpius was right, she had always been better at sweetening up to the guests and showing them what they wanted. They had to uphold the great Malfoy name after all. âOh, of course, itâs a delight.â She rolled her eyes. âWhatâs not to like? The house elves continue to impress and serve after all.â
âOnly something small... Since you were so eager to get back.â He joked, a smile pulling on the corners of his lips. âWhat would you like?â He asked, fishing into his pocket for his wallet. He already had his own but letting it cool down was no issue. Scorpius laughed lightly at his sisterâs comment -- she had a point. It was the work ones that had always been the most draining. Though, he supposed that soon enough he would have to partake in something similar on his own behalf, rather than his fatherâs. That thought was scary. âThey always go on for too long. I could deal with an hour but three?â And the length really depending on how well it was going in the first place. âItâs the best part of the evening, at least.âÂ
