There is a fic in progress right now with kind of the reverse idea. Grace and Rocky figure out how to connect to Earth's internet with no lag (yeah, suspend your disbelief on that one) and they START a YouTube channel, among other things. It is SO funny and SO clever and in chapter 4 there's even a reference to the Project For Awesome, so there is some distant Hank Green reference on top of that.

Also chiming in to say I adore your AMA PHM fic. I work in comms/marketing/social media, so both the fic writing/formatting and the social media culture is just perfection.

I have laughed so many times at Rocky owning people on Twitter and Reddit. But also, again, you have internet (and human!) culture captured really well. Brings me pain sometimes how accurate it is. And pain that I also cannot somehow get Rocky to make me D&D dice.

i love im ryland grace ama so much i just want to let you know. i actually jumped for joy the past several updates. also i still cannot get over grace and rocky working that hard to connect to the internet only to IMMEDIATELY become youtubers i love it so much
