I always thought normal etiquette at the cash register is when your items get scanned and you have not opened your app yet or have your code or whatever ready, you just say no, when they ask you if you have the app. Especially if there are people behind me, I'll do that.
But recently at h&m for some reason after I said no and scanned my card the cashier got snappy and told me "Yes, you do." Like, why do you care?
I didn't even know, or at least I wasn't certain and so I simply said no. I didn't even know you could see that when I scan my BANK card that isn't connected with any of my accounts?
And even if she could see it and wasn't bullshitting me, it was such a bad experience because I felt like being accused of lying in front of dozens of people for no reason. I seriously didn't know and ut was completely unnecessary from her. It was so anxiety inducing. I hate people
