HEAR ME OUT:
Team Dark, in these shirts:
Anyone else notice that Shadow 1. Has a slight accent most of the time and 2. Seems to drop it every once in a while (typically when his guard is down)? Or is that just me going crazy?
Iâm thinking specifically the âCould he have survived?â and âStop itâ lines from Dark Beginnings, it seems to completely vanish there before he forces it back on again.
I'm curious. Reblog this if you know how to cook
I donât even care if itâs macaroni, ramen or those little bowls you stick in the microwave. Please, I need reassurance that most of the population on tumblr WOULDNâT STARVE TO DEATH if their parents couldnât fix them food or they couldnât go out to eat.Â
its so FUCKING COOL that everyone is convinced shadow would the the pirate captain
its so GOD DAMN COOL that everyone cant see ROUGE RIGHT FUCKING IN FRONT OF THEM
its so COOL THEY DONT RELIZE HOW SHIT SHADOW WOULD BE AS A CAPTAIN
Bro Rouge as Captain and Shadow as Forst Mate would be such a tight, efficient crew, tho

I had a couple conversations with people about the style they use to write their first/rough draft, and it has me curious how other writers go about it. Personally, I am complete linear format onlyâfull prose, fleshed out scenes, start to finish, no place holders. I have been told this is... odd?
I realize there are a lot of different methods, but go with what is closest (or the other option if none of these are close)!
How do you write your first draft?
A) classic outline (bullet points, key things, topic notes, etc)
B) like a script (character enters scene, says this, etc. but not fleshed out)
C) write full scenes as they come to me and fill in gaps later (not linear)
*D) write full scenes in linear format (minimal or no place holders)
combination of A and B
combination of A and C
combination of B and C
combination of A, B, and C
some other format (please describe in reblog/tags)
*D is not combinable with other options as it is meant to represent the form I described for myself at top of post.
(Reblog for larger sample size please đ)
A bit of A, but only dates and bullet points; sometimes dialogue ideas if I have any
Ever notice that when you look up writing advice or character profile templates, like 80% of the time thereâs a mention of âgood character traitsâ and âbad character traitsâ? I hate that; traits are neither good nor bad, they just have the capacity to push our behaviour one way or the other.
Ex: If someone has the trait âsarcasticâ, this can be comedically lovable, but also can become obnoxious if not kept in check.
This is why for my character profiles I replace the âgood v. bad traitsâ sections with one section: Five Adjectives.
For personal who follow me on TikTok, hereâs my protagonist Remyâs five adjectives:
Sarcastic
Affectionate
Protective
Flippant
Intelligent
All of these have positive and negative effects on his behaviour, forming his personality.
TL;DR: Thereâs no such thing as good or bad character traits; any trait can be either depending on the moment.
THIS, was my FAVOURITE card as a toddler; my brother had like 3 of them and so gave me one, and it remains in a place of utmost importance in my binder đ
huskerdust is r rated sonadow *drops mic and leaves*
Why is it true, tho-
damn itâs obvious whoâs been here from the start and whoâs new bc ⌠alastor is aroace yall đ
I thought everyone knew this, I was so confused when I saw people acting like this is new info-

Do I ship Sonadow? Yes.
Do I see why other people might not? Also yes.
One thing cannot be denied, though:
These boys absolutely love each other, whether you read it as romantic or platonic.
Welp, this proves it:
Give an 8-year-old super intelligence, a world thatâs been nothing but cruel to him and ultimate power, he becomes a supervillain.
Why are people mad that 14 gets to relax and heal with his best friend??? We do LIKE this character, donât we???
Doctor Who Spoilers For The Giggle
Okay okay okay, so this is how I THINK the bigeneration works:
(WARNING: Wibbly Wobbly Timey Whimey explanation ahead)
So:
15 said heâs fine because 14 got better, right?
That means that 15 is chronologically created AFTER 14 does the healing
So like, when 14 dies, however thatâll happen, heâll just like, disappear, and reappear as 15, being pulled out of themself in that moment.
15 has experienced everything 14 will, he just pops up early.
Like I said: wibbly-wobbly-timey-whimey
âŚam I the only one who realizes that the âbe a woman, let it goâ thing for the metacrisis was like⌠a joke? Like they were teasing him? They were able to let it go because it was split in half between them- everyoneâs doing like âgirl power bs needs to dieâ when like⌠to me it was very clear that they were just quipping?
Sidenote: the âthe doctor is a man, a woman, and neitherâ bit was amazing and I love it

Alright, Good Omens Fic Idea - SPOILERS -
Because Apparently Iâm Still Hyperfixated - SPOILERS -
*I was halfway done this post and accepted deleted the draft- please share in my pain Iâm so upset I have to rewrite all this ;-;*
So:
Aziraphaleâs up in heaven. Itâs been maybe a few weeks since the S2 finale, and things are just about ready for the Second Coming.
Using the small amount of input he could give as the Supreme Archangel, our boy pointed out the moral quandaries of impregnating a teenager without giving them a say in the matter, and so heavenâs taking a page out of Hellâs book and just creating the baby themselves to be sent down to Earth (and just adopted regularly, none of that baby-swapping wickedness).
Aziraphale knows every moment of this childâs life off by heart; heâs read the plans dozens of times, you see. The second Christ will meet an end very similar to that of their first incarnation, though even sooner. A legal murder, though one that feels like it shouldnât be.
Heâs tried to find a way around it, pitched dozens of alternatives to killing the child, but has now realized that even as Supreme Archangel, his power is extremely limited.
So, he calls up the one angel that he feels is best for the job he needs done, and their conversation goes as such:
Aziraphale: Do you trust me?
Muriel: Of course, sir!
Aziraphale: Good, take this baby and this letter to this address, and then stay inside because heaven will definitely deem you a traitor for this, but donât worry I have a plan.
Muriel: âŚokay.
And so, Muriel takes the new baby Christ down to Earth, and straight to Crowleyâs flat.
Dude obviously asks wtf is going on when the sweet little angel whoâd taken over his angelâs bookshop showed up at his door with a baby, and Muriel hands him the letter, which consists of just three sentences:
Iâm sorry. Keep them both safe, please. From everyone.
Crowley groans, long and loud, but hurries Muriel and the baby inside; there are three things Crowley has a soft spot for, and those are his car, his angel, and kids. He may have been furious with the second one at the moment, but that wasnât any of the othersâ faults (and yes, he was aware that Muriel wasnât too much younger than himself, but darn it they acted like a kid sometimes and it was endearing, dammit!)
He asks Muriel to further explain whatâs happening, as the note was no help, but all they can tell him is who the baby is.
Crowley glances at the baby boy in the basket and gets a horrible sense of deja vu.
Why are the occult/ethereal babies always his problem to deal with?
Time Skip- 11 Years Later
Aziraphale hesitates outside the door of Crowleyâs flat, but does eventually end up knocking.
He hears his old friend calling something about âMaggie, this is a bad time-â as he answers the door, but when he sees who was knocking he stops dead.
Aziraphale gives an awkward hello, and Crowley sighs, inviting him in. Their conversation goes as such:
Crowley: It canât be time already.
Aziraphale: Itâs not! Not yet, anyway, and hopefully the time will never come, I just⌠wanted to check in.
Crowley: Right. Check in.
Aziraphale: Yes, so where is he?
Before Crowley can answer, they both hear the door to the flat open and shut. âDad? Iâm back!â
Crowley sighs, almost looking reluctant to reply as he can feel the angel staring at him in surprise, but he does anyway: âIn the kitchen!â
A moment later, a young girl appears in the kitchen as well, clutching a book in her hands that Aziraphale recognizes as one of his.
The girl eyes him almost warily, but Crowley grabs her attention. ââS that another book?â
The girl nods sheepishly. âAunty Muriel thought Iâd like this one.â
âYou say that every time,â He almost chuckles, before waving her off. âOff you pop, get started on it, weâre eating out with Maggie and Nina tonight.â
The girl seems to immediately perk up at that and, giving Aziraphale one more searching stare, turns and leaves the kitchen, heading off to start reading her book.
Crowley now acknowledges Aziraphaleâs shock:
Crowley: What, being a girl not a part of your sideâs plans for her?
Aziraphale: Oh no, they were, it was just supposed to be in a few more years.
Crowley: *shrugs* You said protect her from everyone, that includes herself. Why do you look so shocked, then?
Aziraphale: She called you âDadâ. And âAunty Murielâ?
Crowley: Give me a baby and a disgraced angel and no instructions beyond âprotect themâ, what were you expecting?
Aziraphale cannot answer this.
So, yeah, thatâs the entire narrative I have, beyond a realization later on that when Jay (the name Christ picked for herself at the age of seven) was little, her Dad told her stories about the adventures he and âhis angelâ had been on, and Jayâs realization that the stranger in their kitchen was her Dadâs angel.
Idk, I just find it cute. Theyâll act like divorced Dads who clearly still care about each other and want this arrangement to work, but are also both deeply hurt by whatever the other did to end it, until they actually talk to each other and make up, all while trying to avoid the Messiah role heaven wants to force on Jay.
(Also the reason heaven made Jay trans was that so sheâs experience some of the worst parts of humanity- she was supposed to be sent to/adopted in Florida -and still be completely willing to die for them)
The end, Ima sleep now, Iâm only 50% awake as is
GOOD OMENS SEASON TWO SPOILERS
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
The kiss was not cute; it was not sweet, it was not gentle, and Aziraphale looked borderline traumatized afterwards. But thatâs the POINT.
Not a minute beforehand, he was near tears telling Crowley he needed him. While, from Crowleyâs perspective, Aziraphale was abandoning everything theyâve ever had and stood for together to chase some fantasy about âfixingâ heaven.
There are no nightingales.
Unlike the rest of the season, this moment was not soft, gentle or romantic.
It was desperate. A desperate attempt by Crowley to get his point across, because words werenât working, and of COURSE it didnât work either, because itâs borderline cruel; not intentionally so, but it still is.
From Aziraphaleâs perspective, Crowleyâs abandoning HIM out of nihilism. And to add insult to injury, he kisses him, so hard and so desperately that you can FEEL 6000 years of pining and soft rejections.
And even if he melts into it for a second, Aziraphale snaps out of it and pushes Crowley back because as much as they both may have wanted it you canât just DO that, ESPECIALLY not right now.
And to Crowley, âI forgive youâ is the nail in the coffin. Itâs âwhy did you do that?â and âwhat made you think I would want that?â and âIâm not angry, I just really wish you hadnâtâ. âNow weâre gonna have to move past this somehow.â
And âDonât botherâ- âweâll never move past this, because I donât want us to. So Iâll never see you again so we donât have to face it.â
Our boys are so fucking broken and traumatized rn, I really need a season 3 to fix this.
