these days have been hard for you, but iâve loved nothing more than being right here at your side. ever since i started trying my best to get my life together and ultimately succeeded with your help, things have been wonderful. i havenât been placed in an institution in over a year (though i was very close to losing myself during the few months earlier this year when we didnât speak much) and iâve also been sober for the same durarion. i owe it all to you. i thought of you so often to the point where it trained me to keep going even if all i wanted to do was die. i couldnât ever do enough to thank you.
youâre on the phone with me right now and iâm about to hang up because i know you need to save uour battery. but itâs just so hard to give up your presence, even if we spend every single millisecond of every day together. i still yearn for more. you are a beautiful person, inside and out. there isnât one piece of you that isnât perfect; if you died in a field, even the vultures wouldnât want to disturb something so naturally beautiful.
i feel closer to you with each day that passes, and though i know you like the back of my hand, iâm still learning more. and thatâs what i find so beautiful about us. thereâs never a dull moment and thereâs never tension. we love each other more than weâve ever loved anything, and itâs so overwhelmingly clear. youâre the reason iâve pushed so hard and am finally able to achieve the goals i set for our future. all the âwhat ifâ has now come true and itâs all because of you nini.
iâm so thankful that you never gave up on me. you know my deepest traumas and experiences, you know what i go through and you know that there are things wrong with me that can never be fixed, only managed. and you of course help me manage them and help me feel human. i love you so much and i hope you know that, always and forever.
