Just some OC shenaniganry

I’ll probably post the Sapphire that composes half of her later on.

She originally came from a bit of a joke due to a Starbound mod that adds Gems as playable races, just being based on canon Peridot with a flower in her hair but eventually she evolved into her own character. She’s pretty mischievous- kind of catlike in nature, but not outright malicious. She’s a second generation Peridot, so I don’t know if she’ll have any powers or even a weapon. Maybe I’ll give her some limb enhancers later on? Dunno.

Hopefully this stuff gets in the tag so people will actually see it, ahaha...

A third Peridot. and a third Ruby, a Cinnabar and a Golden Pearl, all part of a set of Chinese Crystal Gems. A little concept I made up, based on commonly found gemstones in the region. Naturally they wouldn’t be interacting with the populace of the country in anything even resembling modern times, but that’s just where their base of operations would be.

And finally, an original gem! One I adopted, to be specific, and love very much. Edited from a render of Amethyst, I believe. She has weather control powers, and her gem is shaped like an egg. It wasn’t clear on the original image, which leads me to believe it’s either on her neck or her back. Her name is Scolecite.

Black Pearl! Not much to say about her, other than the fact that she used to belong to another gem of mine- Black Agate- until they both joined the Crystal Gems and she was given her freedom. There’s no hard feelings, though.

And the first of the render edits! This is a more normally created Ruby, originally serving under Yellow Diamond. I haven’t pieced her story together yet, but she’s very spunky and action-oriented. I think I’ll call her “scarf ruby”. She has a “canon” design for a Garnet with one of my Sapphires, which I’ll post (along with the Sapphire) whenever I get a decent picture I can upload of her.

(This is my only hand-drawn one for now, you can probably tell I’m a novice. I have a couple of friend-done drawings and a couple of edits of the canon renders which I’ll upload in a bit.)
