i drew myself if i was a pearl from Steven Universe! from the little bit of lore i came up for them,, i'd be Blue Diamond's pearl,, who ended up hearing about the Earth and became enamored,, slowly realising i'd also like to wear pink and yellow,, and learn about human genders other than our own!
i wasnt sure if i was allowed to put the transparent fabric in more places than one,, but i decided to go wild! why not a tutu AND a shawl? (?) go crazy!! :DDD (the pearl placement sketch is a bit messy but im running out of battery)

Sorry if this is a lot of complimenting so suddenly, but I feel the need to share this. I haven't thought of SU in so long. I stopped watching at some point and picked up other shows just because of my short attention span. After seeing your art of Cerulean, all of the good memories and feelings of watching this show came rushing back. It makes me want to make my own OC/sona and finish watching the show. I am happy and thankful to have run into your blog and art! I hope you continue to draw more and you keep loving it!

I've been rewatching Steven Universe and I wanted to re-draw some of my old gem OCs. This is Zircon, she's a high-ranking gem from the Pink Diamond sector of Homeworld, back in its prime. Her hobby is collecting defective Pearls. This one is called Greenie, a Pearl made for an Imperial Jade. She was too tall.
