Due to Howlin' listening, I ended up watching a vid of a live '64 performance of Sugar Pie DeSanto's Rock Me Baby, which I wasn't previously familiar with, and I'm very surprised I haven't at least heard a cover of of it, because the lyrics "i want you to rock me like my back ain't got no bones" seem like they'd be tempting to take a stab at.

The Left-leaning version of "the kids today don't even know how to use a sewing machine" is "why have we gone backward on (political issue)?"

I think I'd enjoy going to my dentist a lot more if, instead of the Saltine branded "We love him, yes, he's cool and he loves us, so let's sing over this barely audible guitar" faith music (which I guess is supposed to calm you), they put on Sister Rosetta Tharpe. Specifically, and I can't stress this enough, her recorded live performances.
