"The classic childhood friends to lovers trope is a classic for a reason! These two are always together, they're a constant duo, and they'll start to wither away when separated. There's so much potential for slowburn domestic pining, but if you're more into the toxic rivalry romance then they can lean into that as well so there's something for everyone! They're always trying to help the other improve, understand each other on such subtle levels (see: Silver always understanding Sebek's backhanded compliments are meant as genuine compliments, or Sebek knowing immediately how to soothe Silver's anxieties towards being unexpressive), and genuinely adore each other. Silver has a line where he literally calls Sebek the missing piece in his life, and Sebek is *constantly* fussing over Silver (in an albeit prickly way).
