Your chest is not as big as you think.

It is okay to not have facial hair, cis men have this problem too.

Your small feet and hands are fine, and they don’t make you less of a man.

It is okay if you are short - you are small and kick ass!

It is okay if you are pre-t and don’t pass.

It is okay if you are on T and you don’t pass.

You are handsome and strong. You can go through it.

You will get the body and voice you want.

Me at four years old: I cut my hair and now I look like a boy, its great!

Me at seven years old: Haha, I dress like a boy and I would enjoy it so much if I could be a boy! I like it when people think Im a boy!

Me at eleven: Mum what would you have named if I was a boy? *Then secretly attaching to that name*

Me at twelve: I like playing games as a boy because it looks more like how I see myself.

Me at thirteen: Why am I growing breasts? This doesn't feel right. People look at me differently and I don't understand why no one sees me as 'one of the boys' anymore.

Me at fourteen: It would of been so much easier if I was born a boy. I would of been so much happier.

You can’t just decide to be trans because people of the same sex don’t like you.

You can’t just decide to be trans because being cis is “boring.”

You can’t just decide to be trans because you like to wear makeup and you think it’d be cool to pass as the opposite gender.

You can’t just decide to be trans because someone looked at you and said “you look/act like” the opposite sex.

You just cant decide to be trans because it looks “fun” and your trans friend are getting a lot of attention for it.

You can’t just decide to be trans, period.

Because “that doesn’t happen to guys” *IS* a feminist issue. Male victims of abuse being dismissed, blamed or ridiculed because they weren’t “manly” enough is a part of patriarchy. And you can raise awareness of that without dismissing other feminist issues or bringing it up as a “counter argument” to problems women face.
