My journey
Assalaam Alaykum sisters and brothers. My name is Valeria, I’m from Mexico. I’m so blessed because I’ve took my shahadah recently and I am really happy of my journey in Islam.
I was lost in some way. I growth with a chatolic family but I had too many questions without a logical or believed answer, moreover I thought that the church is not 100% honest. Since I was a kid I decided not to have a religion but believing and having the faith that there is a God who created us and is always watching us. During the course of my life I have read about some religions but I had never payed attention to Islam. The last year I did an exchange program to China and I’ve met few muslims whose more later became my friends. They taught me about islam and make me feel i wasn’t lost anymore. After that amazing experience I came back to my country and I continued searching about Islam until deciding to take my shahadah, “Revert Help” helped me in that way and I’m really thankful with them.
Islam give me a sense to this life, give me the opportunity of meeting awesome sisters and brothers and share with others.
You don’t know the energy I felt since Allah started guiding me to Islam. I can’t wait anymore to continue learning ❤ Ameen.
