Anora had absolutely no stakes in all of the guardian and Moroi drama — she'd only come to Alexandria because she wouldn't dare to ever leave Mikhail's side. She was loyal to him and him only, but frustratingly for her, he was also loyal to his duty, and his weird girlfriend. It had meant leaving Sebastian and the promise of an actual future behind, all in favour for supposedly saving some damsel princesses who'd never worked a day in their lives. Two days in and she already knew it had been a mistake. The town was gross, its citizens generally depressing, and all obviously devoid of any actual money. She was completely screwed. Mikhail didn't seem to notice though, neck deep in pointless Moroi drama, as usual. The remnants of the guardian group were currently gathered at their house, and Ani, left with nothing to do but sit around and twirl her hair, had finally decided to eavesdrop on the meeting — if only to stave off the boredom. When she crept into the kitchen and surveyed the room however, white hot rage hit her gut. Of course they'd be here. Her bitch-ass cousins, who seemingly disappeared out of thin air back in Alicante and directly caused the village's curfew to become even stricter, were actually holed up in vampire town, safe and sound and completely unburdened.
