Old Flame: Touya Todoroki X High School Sweetheart [Part 1]
Description: Like his dad, Touya has only ever worked towards becoming a famous baseball player. He's was a star, impressionable, liked by all, and set up for great things in his future. But what happens when things don't quite go as planned?
Forewarning: I am a casual writer, meaning I don't upload consistently. Please don't get attached to any "series" I write (as it may only be one part released). Story under cut
“Hi, everyone! It’s good to see you,” Shiori greeted as she approached the seats. The whole family was there, each wearing a jersey for Touya, Natsuou and Shouto wearing foam fingers. After greeting each of them with a hug—excluding Enji, who isn’t much for embrace—Shiori took a spot sitting between Fuyumi and Natsuo. It wasn’t lost on her that her boyfriend's father was the only one not wearing the team’s jersey. “Repping your team, huh?”
“Inspiration for Touya to keep his eye on the future,” he said matter-of-factly, not bothering a glance toward her as he looked ahead at the field.
“Right, because why would you support your son when you can support yourself?” she mumbled. Despite their borderline “heart-to-heart” through text, a man like him doesn’t often change in a day.
“Don’t start,” Natsuo warned. “It’s pointless to argue with him about this stuff,”
“You’re right, you’re right. I shouldn’t be bitter. At least he’s here,” It was no secret that Shiori was a girl who spoke her mind, and that personality trait of hers meant being at odds with Enji Todoroki from time to time. But, he was her boyfriend's father, so she had tried to keep the peace as best as she could this season. The last thing Touya needed to worry about was his girlfriend and father being at each other's throats. Aside from those social dynamics, it was a perfect day for baseball, and the anticipation of Touya’s upcoming success had everyone in high spirits. Shiori stood up, looking around the field expectantly. “Has he come out yet?”
“No, not yet, the team is still getting ready,” Fuyumi said, prompting Shiori to start conversation.
“Have you started looking into colleges yet?”
“I’ve picked out a few, but I still have plenty of time before senior year,”
“You should apply for scholarships now. Trust me, it sneaks up on you, and not every scholarship is offered every year. Plus they offer money less and less these days and you don’t want to be held down with student debt,”
“I’m sure I’ll be fine. My grades are exemplary and I have good rapport with my teachers,”
“Oh, I’m so excited for you!” Shiori exclaimed, pulling Fujumi into a hug from the side. “I can’t wait to see what you decide to do with your future,”
“I know what I’m going to do!” Shouto shouted.
“Already? What are you going to do?”
“I’m going to play baseball! Just like Touya!”
“I bet you will! You might even play on the same team one day,”
“They’re running out,” Enji said, and the rest of the family and Shiori stood to see. Two, then three, then four they run out until finally Shiori sees the white, flowy hair of her boyfriend peaking out from under a baseball cap.
“Whoo! Let’s go, Touya!” she shouted out of cupped hands. Touya followed the sound to his girlfriend, flashing her a smile and pitching a kiss to her. She catched it and pulled it to her heart, blowing him a kiss of her own which he also brought to his heart. He returned his focus to the field and took position.
“Unbelievable. He says hi to you and ignores us,” Natsuo pouted, and it’s too funny not to tease.
“What can I say, I kiss better,” Shiori shrugged playfully.
“Gross,” he said, scrunching his nose and crossing his arms. The opposing team began to run out too, though Shiori hardly paid attention, too focused on her sweetheart to care.
“Oh, he looks so handsome in his uniform,” she said, snapping pictures of him on her phone. “Doesn’t he, Rei?”
“He does,” and she started to take photos as well. Natsuo rolled his eyes.
“You say that every time,"
“You say that every time. It doesn’t matter how many games he has, he always looks good,”
“What the- why are they putting him in the field?” Enji protested, followed by him cupping his hands to the field. “Make him pitch!”
Rei put her hand on his arm to quiet him down. “He’ll have plenty of time to show his skills dear,”
“Touya is a valuable player. Everyone wants to show off their bat and pitch. If he can impress the scouts from the field he’ll be ahead. He’ll have his moment,” Shiori affirmed.
“Go, Touya, go!” Shoto cheered, waving his foam finger for his big brother to see. It wasn’t long before the game began, the opposing teams batter making a hit and running to first base.
“Can you stop with the pictures? Between you and Mom, we’ll have enough for each wall in the house,” Natsuo complained to Shiori.
“Aw, Natsuo, are you feeling left out? Here, I’ll take some of you,” she said and started snapping pictures of him.
“Get that out of my face,” he put a hand up to the camera and frowned.
“Whoops! Moody teen, I forgot. Here Fuyumi, you and me, too,” she said, and took a selfie with her friend.
“I want a picture!” Shouto exclaimed, and Shiori obliged, taking multiple pictures of him, with him, with the game in the background, and adding various silly filters into the mix.
“Do we want one with the whole family?” but Enji had had enough.
“That’s enough. Well save it for after his win. We're here for a baseball game so let's watch baseball,” Shiori pouted, but put the phone away and focused.
Touya’s team quickly gained points against the opposing team, but that’s not to say the opposing teaming wasn’t good. They were very good and one of the top teams to beat, but Touya and his teammates were smart and made amazing plays, passing and catching, making every move to get out as many opponents as possible. Yes, each player had their own set of talent and skills, but the one that really stood out from them was undoubtedly Touya. It wasn’t bias, it was fact, the way he moved on the field, communicated with his teammates, and did it all seemingly without effort; it was entrancing. Whenever he was up to bat, he hit hard and fast in a way hardly anyone could catch, he ran two bases at a time whenever he had the chance, and made risky but always rewarding plays.
When in the field, he caught every ball that flew his way, tapped out the most opponents before they got to base and passed and caught between teammates beautifully. When he pitched, the throws were unpredictable. There were no tells on his part that would give away if it was a fast ball, curve, fork, slider—it’s his greatest strength, just like his father.
“I hope he plays carefully today. This opposing team plays dirty. They aren't called the Serpenters for nothing,”
“Now isn’t the time to play scared. He has to impress today,” Enji countered, but his tunnel vision kept him from seeing Shiori’s point.
“We aren’t even an hour into the game and he’s been playing like a professional since the first bat. Overdoing it and hurting himself is just as harmful to his career as if he wasn't playing well at all. We don’t want him to be known as reckless,”
He was the reason for most of the finished innings, in a good way, but he was able to accomplish that with intentionality, not risk. Enji huffed, but deep down he knew she was right.
He had since he was a kid. Though maybe it wasn’t as much as he does now. At first, it was because of jealousy. Watching Ayato get all the attention while he got none. He knew it was bad attention, that was clear from how Ayato would cry, but… it was still attention. What did Ayato have that he didn’t?
Then it was disgust. Because eventually Laito was told he did have something worthwhile to others. Something She would only show him, only give to him.
And he hated it. He hated the way it made his skin crawl, his hands shake. How that lump would form in the back of his throat whenever he thought about it. Deep down, he knew something was wrong. But who was he to complain, when he was finally getting the attention he so desperately craved.
One could imagine, then, how it would hurt to see that the one thing he had wasn’t special. How She’d go to other men just as easily as She had went to him. That’s when the jealousy came back, but it didn’t replace the disgust. Only added to it.
It made sense when he got punished, in that cell. Because obviously he deserved that, right? He wanted the attention, and ended up complaining when he got it.
And so killing Her was bittersweet. God, was he grateful that She was gone, but… still. There was a part of him — a small part, but a part nonetheless — that fought against it. Watching the others didn’t make it better. How Ayato despised Her with his entire being. It was so easy for him. Laito wished he could be like that. That all these conflicting feelings could go away. That everything would be clear and could make sense.
He didn’t hate Ayato. Not really. But on lonely dark nights, when he’d think about everything, he’d remember how Ayato saw. How Ayato knew, and did nothing. He was a kid too, the logical part of his brain rationalized, but… the rest of him resented his brother. Laito resented how Ayato could just go on most days like nothing happened. How unbroken he seemed in comparison to Laito.
Now, the self hatred is a part of him. It’s always there, under the smiles and suggestive words. Settled deep in his chest, under his heart. And when it gets hungry, he goes out. Meets a woman. Flirts with her, gets her in his bed.
Gives the darkness another reason to hate himself.
Because he doesn’t react like a ‘normal’ victim would. No, instead of shying away from everything, he embraces it. He doesn’t feel repulsed by sex even after what he’s gone through. What She’s put him through.

i love love LOVEEE your writing. quick question tho—what do you use for your text messages?? they seem so good!!
Thank you!
I'm using Postfully:
Create custom text messages for your text story videos. Free to use, no email required.
I tried several different fake text apps and websites, and this one has the best end result, in my opinion. There's an option to change dark/light modes and the color of messages, and add all kinds of pictures and time stamps.
The only thing I had to work extra hard so far was the 'Current Location' marker that Cass sent to Jason — that little thing took at least two hours to make from scratch.

This was a one-shot I wrote with my friends at an all-nighter. We wrote (i think) a prompts, a trope, and a character on three sticky notes each, missed them together, then picked a random assortment. Based on that and within a certain period of time, we had to write a one-shot. Here is the one I wrote of Oikawa Touru from Haikyuu.
I think the notes were Oikawa + school festival + friends to lovers (?)
Story under cut.
Being a foreign exchange student, experiencing life in Japan was a bit of a culture shock: different introductions, different eating customs, different school traditions. One school tradition you noted was that Japan had school festival days. For the past week, your class had been working on an idea and building the vision. Today was the final day where the booths would actually be open to people and you were kind of nervous. Why? Who knows. Maybe it was more excitement than nervousness.
Your class finished assembling the booth reasonably quickly, so you figured you’d find your friend Oikawa to see if his booth needed any help. It wasn’t long before you found his booth and he was waving you down. Oikawa was one of the first people to introduce himself to you. Of course, you now realize he was just trying to scope out the new girl considering his… following, but it ended up being a good friendship; mainly consisting of you helping Iwaizumi call him names and him being a weird flirt even though he’s pretty much a dork.
“Hi, Y/n! Couldn’t stay away for long, eh?” he asked, waving.
“No, actually I’m looking for your pretty friend. Hey, Iwa!” you responded jokingly, to which Oikawa feigned a sad pout. “How’s the booth coming along?”
“We're almost done. We just need to put up the last few banners,” Iwaizumi said.
“You may want to be careful, Y/n. As soon as we open, girls will swarm the area. You might get trampled and die,”
“Yeah, I’m sure,” you said, rolling your eyes. “What are you guys doing anyway?”
“Kissing booth,” Iwaizumi said boredly as the title banner was hung up. You turned your head to Oikawa,
“What?”
“It’s the perfect concept! There's no girl in the world that wouldn’t want to kiss me! Just think of the revenue,”
“I wouldn’t count on it if it’s gonna be you, Oikawa. How is this even allowed in a school setting?”
“It’s just on the cheek. He does have a big following of girls at this school. It’s not like we can use his brain to help our booth,”
“I guess that makes sense,”
“How mean! Everyone undermines my intelligence,”
“Oh yeah, how did your game go Saturday?”
“It was fine. We won, of course, but it just felt too easy. I need a challenge in my life. You should come to my next game! You can wear one of my jerseys,”
“Hmm, tempting, but I’ll pass. Volleyball isn’t really my thing. Well, if you’re pretty much done, I’m gonna head around to look at the other booths. See ya around!”
“Bye, Y/n~!”
*
Everything looked amazing and you were having a good amount of fun before someone grabbed your shoulders from behind, making you jump. “Ya ho~!”
“Gah! Oikawa you scared me! Why would you do that?” you exclaimed and punched him in the arm.
“Ow! I can take the abuse from Iwa, but from you, it’s just too much,”
“Sorry. I saw opportunity and couldn’t resist,”
“The abuse I endure for you. Do you wanna go do something together?”
“What about your booth?”
“I’m all kissed out and on break. Girls wear a lot of lip product,” he said while rubbing some gloss and balm off his cheek. “But anyways, let’s go get some food or something. I’m so hungry,”
“I saw a teriyaki booth somewhere. Wanna get some of that? You’re paying,”
“Don’t I always?” The two of you walked the booths, trying different foods and desserts. The games were pretty fun too! It was nice playing games that weren’t rigged. You were clowning on Oikawa a bit at how much he sucked at some of the games compared to you, though you're sure he’d thrown some of your matches together. As your escapade continued, you noticed some girls you passed had their hands pressed to their cheeks while pointing and gazing at Oikawa, undoubtedly gushing over how they kissed each other on the cheek.
“I don’t understand how you can manage all the female attention. I’d get too tired of having to interact that much,”
“It does get bothersome sometimes. I used to love it, but now I think I’d prefer to have only one girl's attention, you know?”
“Ah, the development of a teenage male. From boyhood to maturity. All ready to settle down,” suddenly you gasped dramatically, almost making Oikawa drop the snacks he had bought. “A Ferris wheel! How did they get a Ferris wheel here!?”
“Y/n, I don’t think I’d trust that. It looks a little old,”
“Old shmold! Let’s go on!” Without a moment to protest you were dragging Oikawa by the hand to the big ride. “Woah! I can see the field yard from here!”
“Y/n! Please don’t lean out the side like that. You’re gonna fall!”
“Oh, you mean like this?” you asked and leaned out,”
“Y/n!” he said, reaching for you.
“What? Are you scared” you asked, and started rocking the box. He grabbed you and forced you to sit still beside him, like a mother to her rambunctious child.
“You’ve lost your fun privileges. Sit still until the ride is over,” you couldn’t help but laugh at him. You wondered if rides were a fear of his or if it was just Ferris wheels. Either way, it was fun to be out like this. You guys only ever really interacted at school during classes or studying. “Hey, Y/n. I think you should rethink going to my next game. I think I’d play better if you were there,”
“Why would you need to play better? You already win don’t you?” by this time the wheel had stopped and it was time to get off. You left the ride with a ‘thank you’ to the person running it and continued on.
“It’s less about the winning and more about… Y/n, would you just listen for a sec?” he grabbed your hand and pulled you back nearer to him. You blinked twice, looking down at where his hand didn’t leave yours.
“Kawa?” he started running his thumb over your knuckles nervously, his eyebrows knitting together in conflict.
“I want to see you at my games. I don’t care if I win, I just want to see you wearing my jersey number at my games,”
“What do you…” this wasn’t… was it?
“Earlier, I was wondering if you were gonna show up to the kissing booth at some point today. But now I’m realizing I’m glad you didn’t.”
“Wh-why?”
“Because now it feels more genuine,” he looked up at you, into your eyes, it felt invasive, uncomfortable, but not altogether unwelcomed. “Y/n. Can I kiss you?”
“I…” but the decision was clear to you then. “Yes.”
Sure enough, you were at his next game, the number one displayed proudly on your back.
This was a one-shot I wrote with my friends at an all-nighter. We wrote (i think) a prompts, a trope, and a character on three stikey notes each, missed them together, then picked a random assortment. Based on that and within a certain period of time, we had to write a one-shot. Here is the one I wrote of Ushijima Wakatoshi from Haikyuu.
Ushijima + Prom + Childhood friends
Story under cut.
USHIJIMA + PROM + CHILDHOOD FRIENDS TO LOVERS
Finally. Fifth grade. It was Y/n’s last year of elementary school and she was determined for it to be different. She wasn’t the most extroverted; she liked people but was too scared to approach them, and they never approached her. But this year, she was going to make a friend.
Kimi seemed to be sweet, everyone adored her, but when Y/n tried to befriend her, she was nothing but rude. In fact, after Y/n had the “audacity” to try to “be on her level”, Kimi tried to make her year awful. But Y/n wasn’t going to give up so easily. She would have a good year and she would make a friend. No mean girl was going to stop her.
After a while, Kimi and her “posse” started to get physical with Y/n and pushed her to the ground during recess. That’s when she met Ushijima Wakatoshi. He was in more advanced classes, so she hadn’t ever seen him before, not really, but they had recess together. When he saw her get pushed to the ground, he felt compelled to intervene. He stood over Y/n on the ground, his shadow covering her. Though in most cases it may be a sign of intimidation, his shadow symbolized a blanket of comfort. He looked at Kimi and the two other girls and spoke to them directly.
“To treat your fellow classmate in such a way is despicable. She should be your friend, not your adversary. Don’t choose violence as a mode of communication, but talk out your differences. If this is something you cannot do, I’m afraid I’ll be obligated to notify your teacher,” the girls snarled in repulse and walked away. When they were far enough away, Ushijima knelt down to Y/n’s height on the ground, placing his hand on her shoulder. “Are you alright?”
“Yes! I’m okay! Thank you for helping me,”
“My name is Ushijima Wakatoshi. I am in advanced studies. What is your name?’
“My name, my name is L/n F/n. I’m in general studies,”
“Your knee. It’s scraped and bleeding slightly. Here, use this band-aid,” he told her and handed her a latex patch from his pocket. She finally realized: this could be her new friend!
“Ah! Thank you! Um… do you like advanced studies?” He was a little thrown by the question but answered nonetheless.
“It’s fine. The work is manageable and if it will help me get ahead I have no problem with extra work,” he said while gently pressing the band-aid to her wound. He was quiet as he worked. Then, something told him to engage in conversation with her. “Do you like general studies?”
“Yes! It’s nice and easy, though I still struggle with maths. Do you struggle with maths?”
“No. I find it to be quite easy,” he stated.
“Maybe you could give me some tips on how to do better?”
“It’s pretty simplistic. The more practice, the easier it gets,”
Even after the band-aid was properly secured, the two children continued to talk. Y/n tried her hardest to keep the conversation alive. Even if the question was simple or off-topic she would ask it, and he would reply. Then recess ended, and they had to depart.
“I really enjoy talking to you Ushiwaka! Will you be at recess tomorrow?”
“I always attend recess. It’s important to spend time outside,”
“Okay! I’ll see you tomorrow then!” Y/n said and ran off to her teacher.
“Y/n, dear, what happened to your knee?” the teacher asked her.
“It got scrapped. But It’s okay because my new friend Ushiwaka helped me! I can’t wait to see him again tomorrow!” Y/n told her and ran inside. What a wonderful friendship they had that year.
***
Y/n closed her notebook at the sound of the bell ringing. Another draining class.
I should have stuck to general studies. She thought to herself. Her friend Taeko put her hands on the front of her desk.
“That was so boring. How long are we going to be on tectonic plates?” she wined.
“I don’t know, but if it will help me get ahead I have no problem with extra work,” Y/n reasoned.
“Hey, guess what?”
“What?”
“I got a date today,”
“Really? With who?”
“That hot stud from the volleyball team. Reon Ōhira,”
“Do I get to meet him?”
“Uh, doy! I’m going to watch his practice after school. You don’t have horseback riding today, do you? You should come watch with me. Then you can meet him,”
“I’m finished riding horses for the week. I’m happy to meet him today.”
“Awesome! Then you can ogle his teammates. Oh my gosh. I’m a volleyball girlfriend!”
*
School had finally ended and Taeko and Y/n were headed to the gym Reon was practicing in. Taeko slid open the door and as soon as they saw each other they smiled. Reon jogged over to her and nodded his head at Y/n.
“Hey, Reon. This is my bestie, Y/n,”
“Nice to meet you. I’m Reon,”
“So I’ve heard. Nice to meet you, too,”
“Reon,” Y/n heard a direct, commanding voice call out, somehow familiar. “we’re having a team discussion before we start practice,”
Y/n looked to the student who spoke, the captain, the one she remembered from fifth grade.
“Ushiwaka?” When Reon jogged over to a spot in the circle, for a moment, Ushijima and Y/n made eye contact. Ushijima peered at her, trying to piece together how he knew her face. Then his eyes widened.
“Do you know him?” Taeko asked Y/n. She broke eye contact and looked at her friend.
“Yeah. We went to elementary together. Ushiwaka, right?”
“Psh, don’t ask me. I can’t remember anyone's name. Let's sit here. I don’t want to be hit by a volleyball,”
*
Practice ended. It didn’t seem as long as Y/n would have thought it would be. She busied herself with homework, but she kept looking up and making eye contact with Ushijima. Did he recognize her? He must have. Based on his expression alone she knew he at least remembered her face. Taeko stood up, pulling her bag onto her shoulder. “We’re gonna head out. Are you okay walking home?”
“Yeah, sure thing. Have fun on your date,” Y/n winked at them playfully. Taeko smiled before turning on her heel and walking off with her soon-to-be boyfriend. Y/n turned to pack away her things when…
“Excuse me,” the same commanding voice came suddenly from directly behind Y/n, causing her shoulders to jump. She turned around to face Ushijima. “I apologize. I didn’t mean to startle you. I have something to ask you. By any chance, might your name be L/n F/n?”
“Yeah, it is,” she replied.
“My name is Ushijima Wakatoshi. We went to the same elementary school. I met you when you got pushed over by some girls and you scraped your knee. I bandaged your wound and we became friends. You called me Ushiwaka. Do you remember me?”
“Yes, I remember you. You were my first friend in elementary,” He remembered in such detail! It was silent for a while. Awkward. Neither of them knew what to say.
“What classes are you taking? Are you still in general studies?”
“No, not anymore. I started taking advanced classes. What about you?”
“I’m still taking advanced classes. I still excel in math. Have your math skills improved?”
“Yes, but of course, as I improve the material gets harder,”
“You are correct. I say if it will help us get ahead there is no problem with extra work,” Y/n nodded. That sounded like him. “Your friend has left with my teammate. Are you walking with someone?”
“No. I usually walk with her but they have a date today so I’m loning it,”
“Then may I accompany you?” Y/n thought for a moment but in the end, accepted.
“I would love your company,”
*
After Ushijima had walked Y/n home that day, he asked her for her contact information so they could talk outside of school. Y/n learned he was a very formal texter, but he had a charm to it. It was kind of like their friendship was picking up where it left off. It ended up being really, really nice. Y/n started going to his practices with Taeko more, and they studied together outside of school ever so often. One day Y/n caught herself smiling while texting him. Truth be told, she developed a bit of a crush on him, but she would never admit that to him on her own.
“Ohmygosh, ohmygosh, ohmygosh, Y/N! Prom is like, right now, what are we wearing?” Taeko asked Y/n as she grabbed her shoulders.
“I don’t know. I wasn’t even thinking about that. Should we go shopping today?”
“Uh, yeah! We have to get on this pronto! I’m texting Reon. I have to make sure our ‘fits don’t clash. Should I get his opinion or surprise him?”
“Get his opinion. Leave the surprise dress for the wedding,”
“Good idea. Oh my gosh! Do you have a date in mind? If so we need to bring him too. We’re obvs gonna do a group picture and I can’t have his suit wash any of us out,”
“No, Taeko, I don’t have anyone in mind,”
“Well, the time is still early. You never know, Reon’s team captain might ask you. You guys are close now, right?” Y/n didn’t even think of that. What if he did? Would she say yes? Would she want to? No. He wouldn’t ask her.
“He doesn’t seem like the type to ‘prompose’. Let’s look for dresses. What do you think about blue?”
“For you? Absolutely! A royal blue in satin fabric – long. Oh my gosh this is gonna be so fun!” Taeko practically skipped out the school doors, bringing Y/n with her. Even if Ushijima didn’t ask her to prom, she was so ready for prom.
*
Taeko found a beautiful green princess gown and the most flattering suit for Reon, but Y/n hadn’t found the right fit. After a long time of looking, the three ended the day and walked Y/n home. It was about 2 hours later Y/n heard her doorbell ring. She went downstairs, opened the door, and there she saw Ushijima with a long banner, asking her to be his prom date.
“L/n F/n. Will you go to prom with me?” he asked. Her face was still for a moment, trying to comprehend. Ushijima, upon seeing her face, started to worry he made a mistake. “I asked Reon what I should do to ask you since he was seeing your best friend. He told me to keep it simple. I also got you flowers. I couldn't hold both them and the sign so I put it on your step,”
Y/n looked down to see the large bouquet. It was magnificent. “So, L/n, what do you say? Will you be my date to the prom?”
She lifted up the massive vase and held it to her face. Who knew he’d ask the same day Taeko suggested he might? Probably Taeko. Y/n couldn’t contain the smile on her face. “Yes, Ushiwaka. I would love nothing more than to be your date!”
I have it on quite a few accounts that Dabi's purple skin patches are not in fact burns but poorly applied skin grafts made from dead skin (likely acquired illegally and of poor quality since it is in fact dead, not living skin). Last night I went down a little search to see how exactly the purple grafts would translate to real life.
I was initially going to post the real image here, but I'm unsure if Tumblr would allow it so I put a link below. Though it's only a small patch of skin, it is quite graphic, so viewer beware.

My goal in sharing this is to help any writers better describe and articulate how he looks and how people may react to his appearance/skin, as well as satisfy the curious and those who appreciate accuracy (such as myself).
If you want a better idea with more images, I simply googled "dead skin graft -ai" and that's how I got the image.
Three "wives" and seven sons, but no daughters? Given he planned the Adam and Eve project from the very beginning, it's very obvious a daughter had no place in his plans. I wonder: did he have daughters and kill them, or did he use magical intervention to ensure all his children would be boys? Or were his daughters abandoned like Kino?
I haven't played/seen all the games, so it's very possible the topic is explained and I simply don't know, but I would like to get your thoughts on this.
Edit: This is a purely hypothetical, introspective question about Karlheinz' abilities and overall manipulation of timelines and events, not as a literal question about the canon. IF he had a daughter, or saw the possibility of one in his future, would he alter that outcome somehow (whether trough manipulating the timeline or evaporating her life) or id it just that he happened to conceive sone seven consecutive times?
