Yes! It has been quite some time. I’ve been at this position for an out a year now, but I’ve been working at OIA for just about 9 years now.

It really doesn’t feel like it’s been that long at all.

So our resident subject hall consists of six wings altogether.

Two wings designated for subjects that present “supernatural“ anomalies or irregularities,

two halls for our subjects with organic irregularities,

and two wings dedicated to subjects that are, for one reason or another, are considered higher risk, and require specialized room and board.

Hello! Excellent question!

My field is mostly centered around the study of “weird science.” Anything unnatural, seemingly impossible, or even paranormal is right yo my alley.

If it challenges or defies our understanding of the natural world, chances are there’s someone like me behind the shadows studying it.

As for the educational requirements, the water is still murky in the exact lust of qualifications, since anomalogy is still a budding field. I myself have a doctorate in biomedical engineering.

The RS wings are all prepped for ‘Lights Out’.

I’ll probably be spending the night updating subject reports, and clearing out my emails… it’ll be nice to get ahead of work for the week

I’ve also seen some questions in my inbox here, which I’ll gladly respond to during my breaks.

I think he may have some kind of effect on technology though… my camera does NOT do this normally.

Anyway, this is Father Mikael, the priest I mentioned before.

I got a chance to learn a little about how he came to be… the way that he is… and all he seems to be willing to share is that he was “led astray, into the darkest of light”.

Still on the fence about whether his case will be classified as an organic or supernatural anomaly.

We shall see.

Rather slow night so far… it’s only been an hour, but working by myself makes time feel so much slower.

Decided to check on our new arrival, who was surprisingly still awake. Assuming of course that he needs sleep to begin with…

Very nice fella - his name’s Father Mikael Petrov, a self-admitted subject all the way from Bratislava!

First time taking an overnight shift in quite a while..

The resident subject wings are much quieter than I remember… probably just because it’s literally 22:30.

We just got a new subject in today! apparently some sort of a "shadow man" with three sets of eyes? Sounds cool!

Haven't heard much about the fella, but new arrivals in the RS wings mean that on-site staff is MANDATORY. So maybe with any luck I’ll get to meet him!

Will update if anything interesting happens.
