Nohrian Scum

► ¿ ◄  Today seemed like a good day to train outside as it rained just the other day and wouldn’t do so again for quite some time, so walking through the camp with his horse Vita following close behind him in what could only be a protective manner. Catching his attention with ease was none other than his own father stopping him from his path to the training grounds, at least, that is where he appeared to be heading when in reality Siegbert planned on training in difficult terrain while riding on Vita’s back quite the dangerous exercise he wished for no one to find out about. At first, Siegbert wondered if his father had come to find out about his training methods and not to mention the ungodly hours he spent studying, only for the older man’s words to catch him completely off guard as a small blush and shocked expression displayed noticeably.

Blonde eyebrows furrowed at his son’s lack of an explanation. While he loved his kin dearly, he did wish for a straightforward answer about this. He was more than sure that Seigbert knew exactly what he was talking about, and he expected for the young man to at least OWN UP TO IT. He wasn’t going to pressure his son into saying anything, oh no. That would be going too far, if his son wished naught to say what it was he would simply say someone else about it- maybe Shinonome. Even if he himself knew that, to do such a thing would ultimately embarrass his son, he just HAD to. He felt as if that was a sort of duty he had to fulfill as his father. Besides, there was far worse that he could have been doing at the moment....Far worse.

The blonde wasn’t sure what to say when seeing his son as he made his way through the camp. Normally he wouldn’t hesitate to talk to the young man, as compared to many other children and parents in the army they had a decently good relationship. He was grateful for this of course, he wouldn’t want to be on any form of a low standing with his own flesh and bone after all. 

But as the crown prince of Nohr was doing various things around where the army was staying he had heard rather... interesting gossip about Seigbert. Now, Marx wasn’t one to listen to rumors intentionally as he had heard enough of that in his past. But when you know the person who rumors were told about it was fairly easy to weed out the true and false. Even with the standing he had with his son, this information that he heard was rather hard to decipher so he planned to find out the truth for himself.

Marx turned to look behind him as he heard a voice call out to him. He was about to go on his mount in order to begin his training when he had heard his brother call his name. He wasn’t complaining that his brother wished to have his attention of course. In fact with the other’s blonde’s usual disinterest in him he was rather curios to what his dear brother needed.

The crown prince wasn’t sure what to say upon seeing the dark falcon in the camp. He knew of what the man had done in the past of course, the other man going behind the backs of others and attempting dangerous experiments eventually leading to him to being kicked out of the Nohrian army. 

He knew of the crimes that the longer haired man before him had committed, and the time that he had spent in the enemy country. Even with the knowledge that as a third party en route to stop this war TOGETHER the crown prince couldn’t find himself putting his trust in the dark falcon. It was a bad things of course, but it would be an opinion that would only be addressed if directly confronted for the time being. That being said, Marx would try his best to play nice unless proven that he shouldn’t.
