There has to be a gnarly case of classic fandom misogyny behind people deciding that Ted's whole "people who are alive and people who are fucking dead" speech was about Pete, who's only a background character in this show, and Ted never even mentions, rather than Charlotte, who is pretty much the only person that Ted is shown to genuinely deeply care about and her corpse is literally right in front of him in that scene.

The woman he was in love with but couldn't have anything beyond a workplace affair with was just shot in front of his eyes because he left her alone with her already infected husband that she couldn't let go of but sure, he was thinking about his brother that we haven't seen him interact with in the entire hatchetverse other than their cameo in black friday and the start of abstinence camp where he makes him get out of his car and walk to the camp because he got scared to go back there.
