People will genuinely say that their relationship with a domesticated cow which they've paid for to be bred and killed for their consumption is the same as the relationship a fox has to a hare that they killed to survive.
Dare I say that eating an animal which has had its fate of being killed and sold predetermined from its birth and was kept in a certain area for its whole life so it didn't have a chance of not being killed at the time that was chosen it isn't preserving a natural predator-prey relationship or keeping you connected to nature?
