02.07.21 | next week’s hell week and we’re just hoping to God we survive in one piece. for today I scheduled so little: study gross lecs and lab for tomorrow’s shifting and pracs, finish physio SGD on endo, and do micro manual so I can focus on thursday micro exams on wednesday night.
a friend is thinking of dropping and it makes me think how big of a factor of coping well is in med school. if you can’t find your ground soon, you’ll just get lost.
for me, I spent a few hours to eat out yesterday to ease the anxiety and tension and frustrations that have been gradually building up. it was good. when another requirement was announced last night, I just laughed, got myself a wine glass and yellow tail moscato, and proceeded with my to-do list.
it’s not that I’m being complacent, less alone confident. it’s just that it was as hectic like this during undergrad, except 10x worse. the best way is to prioritize what I need to do, and do as much as I can, the best I can, with the very limited amount of time we have. so far I’m okay. I just have to study efficiently and effectively.
is hell week around the corner for you, too? if so, I wish you goodluck! drink lots of water and your daily vitamins. we’ll get through this. 🌼
