I was looking around on reddit and people were talking about how Armin was commander and why wasn't it Jean or at least they be co-leaders since Jean is just as good in dire situations.

Someone likened it to Armin being commander which makes Jean the captain and I can't stop thinking about that.

Armin gives the orders, Jean makes it happen. Armin can talk a lot of people into getting things done, Jean can show a smaller group how it will get done.

I kind of love it.

They always say something like "Oh historia is obviously bi because she was impregnated by the farmer" as if it isn't entirely possible for her to have just accepted fate and gone along with the pregnancy plan because she knew as a woman in her situation that she wouldn't have much of a choice.

These are not the faces of a woman who is happy with her life.

I personally interpret Historia's S4 storyline as a parallel to the founder Ymir, who was also forced to bear children for the protection of her nation and in order to keep the power of the founder.
