Born to raise Hell

    “That’s a socket wrench. It tightens or loosens nuts. See the      funny looking knob on the top there? It’ll make a noise if      you turn it.”

As he spoke, Anastasia looked at the part in question. Her eyebrows raised slightly as she carefully turned it. It did make a funny sort of noise- which made her smile wide with a little giggle. 

 “Oh! I made the noise!”

  Tallahassee remained silent as he watched her gather her things and move from her spot to the couch. He gave her a light nod in response. Perhaps he was being a little harsh, who was he to judge after all? He’s done way worse at Ana’s age. He hugged her back and nodded once more.

     “Just get some sleep.”

With that, Ana said goodnight to her father, then headed to her room. She sent a text to Reid, warning him she might be grounded until the next century. She should’ve called- or- texted them or something.

 The next morning, Ana slipped out of her room and went to the kitchen to grab some food. She made herself a bowl of cereal, grabbed a few twinkies then went and plopped down on the couch. She might as well get in some TV time now before the end of days she’s grounded.
