what is your act?

“Oh well, I don’t think I ever loved Valentines day this much like this time. this island makes it so good all the candy and stuff. I really do love it here.”

“Y’know, back when I was blonde I never gave into that ‘blondes have more fun’ crap.  But now I’m kinda starting to miss it.”

“blonde is lovely” anne exclaimed, giving the woman a smile. “i prefer pink-- my wig is pink.”

Nancy sat with her knees pushed into her chest and her back pressed into a wall.  A hand wiping some tears from her face, she didn’t like being alone.  She missed her friends, her brother and even her brothers friends.  Her mind rattled with if they were safe back home? and she didn’t let her mind think of the other possibility.  Her eyes shot up,  “Am I in your way?” 

just before responding to the woman’s question, anne realized how upset the woman appeared. she stopped dead in her tracks, kneeling down so she was now level with the stranger. “are you alright?”

jane had found herself sitting in a coffee shop, her head resting in her hands as she looked over at her third coffee sitting on the table, surrounded by too much paper “i’ve written fifty lists, and i still can’t figure out why i’m here, or how i can get home.” she sighed.

“Waking up in a town is not strange at all but how did this even happen to me?”

“i keep thinking that when i wake up-- i’ll be back in my old bed, back in my time.” anne admitted. “did you just arrive?”

Smiling, Phillip looked at her as she spoke, pressing her hand in his softly before leaning closer to her. “I love you, Anne.” He whispered, kissing her lips softly. He had never said it before, but now it was done. He loved her, and he truly did.

although anne had always felt it was unsaid, she was left a bit speechless as she heard phillip’s confession. she held onto his hand tightly, giving it a squeeze. “i love you so much, phillip.” it felt so natural for her to say, knowing that this man truly held every part of her heart in his hand.

“I don’t know how anyone is staying sane in this town, things vanishing, people jumping into the water, or people just being exposed to a small amount of it… I’m not even sure if will have food tomorrow at this rate.”

anne agreed, this woman did have a point. “do you find the longer we’re here, the more weird stuff happens? or is that just me?”

Lucy was just admiring the new snow falling from the sky when suddenly a snowball was hitting her back in a rather hard way. “Ouch…” she muttered, looking around from whom it was while wet snow was dripping down her hair, “What was that for now? That had been pretty rude, you know?”

anne hadn’t realized where the ball of snow was going until it was TOO LATE. her hands went up to her mouth, cupping it as she ran towards the woman. “oh my goodness, i’m sorry. i hadn’t meant that at all.”

While music itself was nothing new to Han, he only had recently discoverd what the people here called rock music. Finding himself being rather fond of it, he started to sing on the middle of the sidewalk to a song coming from his brand new Ipod.

“what in the WORLD is that song?” anne exclaimed, unable to hold back a chuckle. she had never heard anything like that before in her life and it certainly did not sound like anything that she had heard before.

Smiling, Phillip looked down at her question, nodding slowly. “In my dreams for my future, yeah.” He said slowly, before taking one of her hands in his. “I had time to think about this before, and I mean.. I have no ideas if you’re even ready yet but I’ll wait as long as you want for anything. Because, ideally, I want this future to be with you.”

as phillip took her hand, anne gently rubbed her thumb along the side of his hand, her eyes focused on him intently. “this is all i’ve ever wanted.” anne exclaimed, her lips forming a soft smile. “i’m ready for wherever life takes us-- at any time. i’m truly ready. you are my future, phillip.” it was said so easily, but it came directly from anne’s heart. 

“right, okay! well, it’s big, and wooden, and stick-y. yeah, sorry. that’s not very good.” clara shook her head. “it’s a massive house made out of sticks, but i doubt it’s here. sorry, i probably sound a bit loopy.”

“Oh right, we haven’t talk about it yet.” Phillip just realized, as he smiled and looked down for a second. He looked back at her right after before nodding. “Yeah, I mean not now, we’re still young. But.. I believe in the first love that never dies, the one true love. And I want to have children.”

even if it had not been discussed together, it thrilled anne that it was something on phillip’s mind. her dreams of a future with him were something that she found herself constantly thinking of and to know that it was DEFINITELY the same made her feel as if she was on top of the world. “so-- you see children and marriage, do you? i think it’s pretty cute you’ve thought about this, honestly.”

 ‘ this place is C R A Z Y  because i used to talk about all the magical things that happen here and people used to make fun of me and think i’m stupid but i just knew all of this was real ! ’

“what kind of magical things?” anne questioned, she hadn’t come in contact with anything magical since arriving.

“okay, that’s weird.” clara began, mostly to herself as she gathered her thoughts. she’d just been in her tardis and the next on a boat which took her to the island. “don’t suppose you’ve seen a diner anywhere? or an archway, or, eh, a giant stick house?”

although she wanted to be of assistance, anne didn’t exactly know what this poor woman was talking about. “could you DESCRIBE this-- stick house to me?”

Listening to her again, Phillip smiled and nodded at her when she thanked him. “No needs to thank me, it’s why I am here after all.” He said with a slight smile, as he placed a hand in her back slowly. “Surprisingly, it’s not as boring as I thought it would be. And it’s just like.. Any training for when we’ll have a family.” He said softly, kissing her cheek slowly.

with a questioning expression, anne couldn’t help but smile at phillip’s words. they had talked about the future, sure. but yet, this was still quite surreal to her. “you think about us-- starting a family together?” she asked, her smile only growing brighter as he kissed her cheek.

“Thanks” She murmured, throwing in a few final shots for good measure, rubbing her hands on her knuckles to ease the ache. She didn’t really need the acknowledgement of skills but it was still nice, though she’d never show it. A warrior never let there guard down. Shuffling round to face the girl, she laughed in what could be considered a kind way. “Knives. Swords. Spears, axes, arrows” She rattled off, the list quite long, even longer ever since they utilised Skaikru weapons such as guns.

anne’s eyebrows rose as the woman began to list things off, glancing the woman up and down as she thought about it. this woman definitely looked the part, a total warrior type. “the time where you’re from, i take it most of the people there have the same experience with those types of things, yeah?”

“believe me, it would take more than that to knock me off my feet.” anne grinned, her circus roots made her able to stand her ground in more ways than one. “forgive me, i can be so rude. anne wheeler.” she reached out her hand to shake the woman’s. “formally part of barnum’s circus.”
