Anna Syrene

“Nobody, nothing it’s– it’s just…” the blonde shrugged a little with a sigh escaping her lips. “It’s something going on in my own head I guess. I’m worried I’m annoying people to death or something, but I just want what’s best for everybody.”

Anna placed both arms around her sister before pressing there foreheads together. “I don’t like seeing you like this Aria.” she throwned as she raised a palm to the others cheek stroking her cheek lightly. “I highly doubt that young lady.” a scoff left her lips. “I’m sure people are going to tell you when you’re annoying but i can’t see that ever happening.” 

“Do you… do you think I’m overenthusiastic, Anna?” the blonde asked her sister, curling up on the couch and looking a little sad. “Like am I annoying or overbearing? Perhaps even both?”

Anna looked shocked at her sister as she asked the question. “No? Why would you even suggest such a thing.” a look of sadness crossed her face as she placed her arms around the other. “Who’s hurt you?” she pouted as she began stroking the other hair wanting to cheer her up in any way possible.

“Can you believe him?! He’s impossible!” Ariel ranted as she sat the box down with a heavy sigh next to her sister on the couch. She pulled out one of the various knick knacks that were buried in the box. “I mean, I found this red glass vial when I was at the lake and Dad still calls it junk! Hasn’t he ever heard of priceless mementos?”

Anna raised her hands in defence as she listened to her sister go off on a rant once again. She let out a small sigh as she was shown the vial. “I understand your point Ariel.” she paused unsure of how to continue. “But i also see his viewpoint.” she bit down on her bottom lip as she waited for her sister to go off at her. “I’m just saying you both have justified cases.”

“Popcorn, wine and One Tree Hill? Anna– that’s absolutely perfect!” Aria beamed. “It’s like you know exactly what’s in my soul,” she added with a chuckle.

Anna reached for her sisters hand, giving it a small squeeze she couldn’t help but smile. “What can i say, i can read people, i knew exactly what we needed.” she chuckled lightly as she rested her head on the others shoulder. “Should we head inside then?” 

“We have a wide selection of drinks here. Ranging from warm teas, to iced teas, and even some lemonades.” She told the person standing in front of her, excited that she was asked to help with drinks for the barbeque. “So, what will it be?” 

Anna smiled softly at the other as she nodded her head. “Some warm chi tea would be ideal.” she admitted as she fiddled with the list in her hand. “Do you know what food there serving as well? the line’s long and i want to know if its worth getting in line or not.”

“ Aww, what a sweet thing to say, ” Eliana cooed, although her eyes quickly widened in surprise. “ Wait, what ? You can over-water a plant ? Oh my god, how are you supposed to know the right amount ? Is it different per plant ? I’m so just getting a cactus if I feel the need to buy one. ”

Anna nodded her head as she agreed with the other. “Especially succulents, i think they’re used to the blazing sun that they get overwhelmed with to much water.” she chuckled softly shaking her head as the laugh fell from her lips. “I think they come on little tags when you buy the plant but honestly who pays attention to the instructions.” 

“Anna!” she gasped, swatting her sister upon the shoulder. “Although I could go for some sister-bonding time. You know that’s my favorite pass-time.” This was true. Aria loved family more than anything. While music was a close second, family would always win.

“Are you down to binge watching some tv shows?” she wiggled her eyesbrows at the other a small smirk playing on her lips. “I was thinking maybe one tree hill?” she chuckled softly as she patted her sisters arm. “Popcorn and wine included?”

The shock and horror appeared to melt into relief at the others confirmation that his skin was perfectly fine as it was. Things like that were very important to Chester; they took care of themselves and their personal hygiene and grooming habits were of the highest quality. “Well anything you can suggest to add to my routine I’ll take on board. I find it rather therapeutic actually.”

“Lucky you have me then my sweets.” she grinned widely as she linked arms with the other. “Shall we go inside and get this party started.” she chuckled softly to herself as she glanced towards the door. “Maybe we can pop a bottle of red and watch some sad movies together as well, make it a real party.”

“You said sacrifice a lot just now,” Aria commented, “Should I be worried? Is this actually part of some satanic ritual but you’re playing it off as skincare and plant-growing?” she teased. “All jokes aside, you know I’m here for ya. What do you need me to do?”

“Obviously, you’re part of the twenty virgins i plan on sacrificing.” she joked lightly as she lent her head against the other shoulder. “What else could it be?” she grinned at the other. “Just some sisterly love and attention if i’m being honest.”

“I mean if you’re asking me for my two cents I’m going to vote for the instrument,” Charles piped up. “It’s a good place to start and you’re not putting an animal at risk. Not that I don’t think you’d be capable of caring for an animal, it’s just that the term ‘try to keep it alive’ worries me.”

“Yeah i have to admit that comment was a little brutal.” she grinned widely at the other as she tried to prove the point she was joking. “Maybe a plant is a good start, one that requires minimal water and a lot of sunlight?” she raised an eyebrow at the other a small shrug following shortly after. “I was never allowed pets as a kid there were too many of us, father didn’t think it would be fair for one to have one and not the others.”’

“I’m sure you are, trying your best,” Taran agreed, nodding his head. “I don’t doubt it.” He hadn’t meant any offense - in fact, he was just teasing her. He only offered her a soft smile as he shrugged his shoulders in nonchalance. “Changing the soil doesn’t take much. It’s more about uprooting the plant without damaging the roots and placing it in new soil.” 

“Well clearly.” she raised an eyebrow at the man a small smile appearing on her lips. “We all have a our hidden talents, mine just seems to be facials.” she ran a hand through her hair as she stared down at her grass. “Are you good at that? cause not to sounds like a moron but would you be willing to help a girl out?” 

“You’re right, you’re so right,” she laughed softly at Anna’s comment about six siblings. Aria did have to hold a roll of her eyes when Anna insisted that the light from phones or computers was bad for her pores. “Okay well if you don’t want to use the internet to figure it out, you’ve got to be prepared for a whole lot of trial and error today.”

“You could sacrifice your face and tell me what to do?” she smiled innocently at her sister. “Pleasssee” she begged the other as she batted her eyes. “Did i ever mention how you’re my favourite sister?” she joked lightly, how could she ever pick a favourite? it would be like willingly starting world war 3. “Maybe you could sacrifice your hands as well and help me save my lawn?”

“I guess I can definitely relate there,” he admitted with a slight sigh. Charles was always wanting to be a little more in life. Perhaps becoming a fantastic veterinarian could prove just that. “Well what other things would you like to try? There’s more ways to prove a point to your sisters than just growing grass.”

Anna shrugged her shoulders as she thought about the others question. “I’m not exactly sure.” a frustrated sigh escaped her lips. “Maybe i should try an instrument?” she raised an eyebrow at the other as she waited for the others reaction. “Or i could get a pet and try to keep it alive?” an awkward chuckle escaped her lips at the moment. “Got any suggestions that might work?” 

The more Anna spoke, the wider Chester’s eyes got. Hands clasped their face. “Why? Do you think my skin is that bad?” They asked after a moment. It certainly didn’t feel that dry though admittedly their hands could do with a little more attention. 

“Gosh no!!” she grinned at the other. “You’re one of the only peoples in this town that take care of their skin properly.” She rolled her eyes as she recalled memories past. “Some of my sisters think a face mask once every six months will fix everything but they don’t realise its constant care not occasional care that fixes things.” a frustrated sigh escaped her lips as she glanced at the other. “i’m just giving advice on how to go above and beyond.”

“Have you tried different soil?” Taran asked as he crossed his arms over his chest, looking at her with a soft smirk on his face. “Sometimes it’s not you but the environment. But I guess if it keeps happening… it’s probably you,” he teased. 

“No.” she raised an eyebrow at the other as she glanced down at her hands. “Do these hands look like they’d be able to change the soil?” she raised her hands as she showed the other the dantiness of them. “These hands are better at facials then growing grass.” a look of shock crossed her face as he accused her of being the problem. “That’s quite rude y’know?” she raised an eyebrow at the other. “I’m trying my best i’ll have you know.”
