Hi guys! I still need you help! I am a CUNY Dental Hygiene student at New York City School of Technology in Downton Brooklyn, 285 Jay Street is a new academic building. We are taking patients for dental cleanings. Yes, it is safe, we are supervised by local dentist and faculty to guide us and check our work. Itβs my second year, so we were practicing on each other and some patients for the whole year. Is there a catch? Kind of. The visit will not be a standard 30-45min visit like it would be for regular cleaning. You will be sitting in the chair with me for about 2 to 3 hours. This is because I have to do everything in steps. The dentist will then check my work. He/She will also be checking other student work as well so that is the catch. It isn't fast and the appointment will be broken into about 2 or more visits depending on your oral health. We are following all infection and disease control standards (probably even more than in many offices, simply because we are an educational institution). The appointments are Tuesday and Thursday at 5.45pm. Saturdays are 8.30am. Pros- itβs at no cost for you. In comprising, a regular cleaning like this could cost $400 if you have no insurance. Please, note it is a professional environment and not a date. I will clean your teeth, evaluate soft tissues, and remove buildup, stains, calculus! We also do your x-rays if there a need in it. All of that for no cost for you and you will receive an electric toothbrush on the day of your last visit. I want to make sure we are clear. If you make an appointment with me and need to cancel please let me know AS SOON AS YOU KNOW. If you don't show up to an appointment or 30 mins late, it affects my grade and I fail for that day and possibly for the semester. Please, email me to [email protected] for more information, questions, and to schedule an appointment. https://www.instagram.com/p/CEiF50GAG2J/?igshid=1haepuveuugkz
