Some things are just meant to be, just like Sian and Cousin Christopher, so was her dress and the bridesmaids’ jewellery. The passing of a good friend brought me back to Australia early and I filled my Sundays working on Sian’s wedding dress and her bridesmaids jewellery. Thanks to her trust in me to take on the project, she kept me sane. To stop creating for me, is to cut my lifelines. The project kept my creative blood pumping in my weeks of battling with the drought, working on my family property. To be thrown from the metropolis of Madrid to the extreme isolation of Outback Queensland has been no easy transition.

Thank you Sian, for letting me be a part of such a wonderful journey. You were the PERFECT bride, not a drop of bridezila blood was detected in your bloodstream. It was lovely getting to know you better, we couldn’t have a better addition to the Hardie family. You and Christopher, together, create a whole new wonderful dynamic to our world. 

Maybe now you realise you were helping me, more than I was helping you. It was a therapeutic, healing, warm, fuzzy, fun, exciting and emotionally charged project and I loved every single minute of it. Thank you. xoxo
