Any More Stupid Questions?

Blake frowned as she glared down at the textbook in front of her, “I know I’m not going to fail, I just hate that I don’t understand it better. Why should I have to take calculus anyway….math and letters should have never been combined.” she said with a sigh as she slammed her head against the table. 

“Because Math is required by the university? And you shouldn’t be so harsh on math, it’s not so bad. Once you learn to do it in your head, anyway.” Anna shrugged. “What is it exactly that you’re having trouble with? I’m proficient up to trigonometry so I can help you with calculus for sure.”

Ayla had her fingers stuffed in her hair with her eyes narrowed while her friend went on. “Are you trying to make me feel better? Because you suck at this,” she muttered, not looking up from her book. “Never mind, I’ll figure it out on my own,” she muttered.

“I’m sorry, you know how I get.” Anna sighed. “That whole holier than thou smarter thing.” She shook her head. “No, don’t figure it out on your own, this is what I’m here for. If you follow my study guide you should definitely, one hundred and fifty percent pass.”

“because i just pictured a clown trying to teach us, he probably was gutted he didn’t get to play pennywise. deal any tuesday you want to do something let me know”

“Why on earth would you think something like that? Now I’m going to get nightmares.” Anna complained. “I will most definitely do that, because I could use something to do besides working for once in my life.”

“See it isn’t labeled as a children’s museum but it is geared towards children more because kids naturally hate math.” Jasey shrugged, she was basically a child herself so going into a children’s museum wasn’t something she would be ashamed of doing. “I got lost real bad the other day and got off a couple blocks away from the museum.”

“A museum that’s geared towards children is a children’s museum.” Anna pointed out. “Unless there was one or two sections considered a kids zone in an otherwise adult museum, it was a children’s museum.” She shook her head. “You’ve gone to school here or a while, haven’t you? How do you get lost?”

When her mother forced her to go to summer camp to “interact with other children in her age group”, Anna was sure she was going to be miserable the entire time, until Ayla came along and changed that. She was the only person Anna got along with that was willing to deal with her being the “smart one” and the “bossy one”. Anna admired her for her boldness, and her extreme affinity for the common sense that Anna lacked. She is the only one who can push Anna out of her “genius zone” and into being a real human being with actual feelings.

“I went into one museum, and most of it was just really cool fun things that like help little kids get into math.” Jasey really loved math and felt a little protective over it. “There are art museums like contemporary art gets it own museum.”

“That sounds like a children’s museum.” Anna pointed out. “I’m not saying math isn’t bad because again, my career is dependent on it, so I have a deep respect and knowledge for it. I’m just a little curious as to how you managed to find your way into a children’s math museum.”

Anna: Stubbornness is a surefire way of making stupid mistakes that could potentially end up hurting her, and I just want to protect her

Anna: It's worth a shot. I told her I'd tell on her to you but she didn't seem to take me seriously
