the Wanderers - mysterious, but cute ✨

Acolytes were the Wanderers who helped the Priestesses of the Forgotten Empire. They tried to look like the Priestesses and named themselves after the Ancient Goddesses they served.

Flora was the first doll I made after a year long break. The sketch is very old, but I still like it so much. And it seems I haven't forgotten how to crochet.

I'm so afraid to continue working on this project because I had no practise for a year. It's very complicated and I need to make everything perfect. So instead I decided to crochet something easier for now...

One by one they leave. And the world has changed. Cold, dark world. No one needs your trembly light. You just need to hide, to forget and to be forgotten. You can run, run far away, run without looking back. You can hide your face behind the mask and cover your tattoos with the long coat. You can even cut your horns down. They are just a symbol but still can reveal who you are. And there's one last spark shimmering in your palm. It's no big deal - clench your fist and close your eyes... And cry! And scream! And bleed! Because it's all in vain... You can't hide from yourself, you can't run. All the magic is inside you. It's like a wild untethered flame which shines the brightest in the darkest of the nights. And its light will tear you heart apart. And thousands of sparkling butterflies will scatter around the world. And the magic will burn your fingertips. And it will be so much harder to forget. Because when they leave... One by one... This magic, this inner light... It's the only thing you have and the only thing that's you.

The doll was finished almost 4 years ago but I still haven't introduced the character oficially. I had no inspiration to turn my sketches into a full story. But not long ago I felt exactly what I needed to finally do this. So, I'll show the Hermitess soon...
