...
Let's talk about how Daniel and Johnny went from total distrust to absolute trust.
From the beginning, both struggled to trust anyone outside their close circle.
Personally, I believe Johnny was the first to break down his walls and be completely open with Daniel. So much so that he felt hurt when Daniel tried to exclude him from training at the end of the first part. Even so, in the second part, Johnny allowed himself to be honest about how much he needed Daniel by his side to lead Miyagi-Do to victory.
In the third part, we see just how important it was for Daniel to earn that trust. In the scene where Johnny confronts Kreese, he says: "I didn't trust anyone. Not even myself." For someone who rarely let his guard down, it was a huge step to say: "LaRusso, be my sensei," "I couldn't have done it without you," and finally, in the most meaningful speech: "Everyone will learn Miyagi-Do. They will learn defense and inner strength from one of the best senseis in the world." With those words, Johnny not only validates Daniel but also entrusts him with one of his most important students.
Now, let's focus on Daniel. His distrust of Cobra Kai wasn’t just because of his past with Johnny and the Cobras but especially because of Terry Silver. The trauma Daniel suffered with Silver led him to associate everything related to Cobra Kai with danger, both for others and for himself. He didn't like the version of himself that emerged under Silver’s training, so he instinctively rejected the dojo’s philosophy.
However, as he gets to know Johnny better, he begins to understand that Johnny wants to take Cobra Kai in a different direction. The consolidation of this trust happens in several key moments:
1. When Johnny shows up at his door and asks if he trusts him, and Daniel says yes.
2. When he tells Johnny that he wants his version of Cobra Kai to win, and that’s why he makes a deal on his behalf for the dojo.
3. When Daniel puts on the Cobra Kai gi again.
4. When he uses Cobra Kai’s philosophy to motivate Johnny, even if he doesn’t claim it as his own: "Is there defeat in your dojo?"
5. When he makes it clear to Silver that Cobra Kai was never the real problem—it was the senseis behind it. And now that Johnny is in charge, he says: "Cobra Kai never dies."
6. When he agrees to share the celebration with Johnny.
7. Finally, when he entrusts Johnny with his own son, knowing he will teach him valuable lessons.
And as their final act of love, they separate their dojos. They accept that they have different philosophies, but that doesn’t mean they have to be enemies.
The perfect ending.
They love each other.
Daniel, tranquilo nadie te va a quitar a Johnny 😂

While reviewing the deleted scenes again, I noticed two guys in the cafeteria: one blond and the other brunette, dressed identically to Daniel and Johnny. Could it be some kind of subliminal message related to LawRusso?
