Marcel can get so loud because when you're his lover, he trusts you enough with his life. At first he might be shy, but give it some tries, he'll stop holding back. Hear his every breath and whimper, that's how he shows how comfortable he is with you. It's just the two, or maybe three of you including Clemar, so he has no qualms about expressing himself honestly. He'll tell you just how good you're making him feel. He does not have many sentences to say, but even his short phrases and the way he's stuttering because of you says it all.
What he secretly likes? When you force him to say something specifically. You might say, "use your words, love. 'Please ████ my ████.'" Such vulgar language is unheard of in the Paxley household! If it means he'll get what he needs from you desperately, he'll beg for it ashamedly.

The way you're touching Clemar is making Marcel nervous, but he does not stop you, because affection to Clemar is also affection to him. Even by watching in the background and leaving him by himself, he's all worked up.
In another scenario, when you're all up on Marcel, Clemar eagerly watches the two of you. Marcel can already see Clemar's smug lens in his peripheral vision, as well as how his pathetic state looks like through his eye. He knows Clemar has already been taking photos of him since you pushed him against the wall. Despite that, you're looking at him so hungrily. Being desired by you sets his heart afloat. Expose him more, see him thoroughly.
A hard pass he would have is sharing any of these private moments with anyone else. Marcel already practises a firm persona in front of anyone he does not know. Reserved and grounded, these were expected of a Paxley. In public, he is noticeably more stoic, even next to you. Internally, he wishes to have only you witness his soul since no one else could ever compare.

note: all of these are in chinese, so unless you can read chinese, you will have to mtl these. imo, the mtl takes a bit to get used to, but once you're adjusted to it, the fics are really, really good. also, i'm someone who really likes reading long oneshots, so... most of these are pretty lengthy

this took me on a whole roller coaster of emotions and is just. such an amazing characterization of ayn that i wish i could write. i really can't put into words just how good this fic is, from the pacing to the details to the ideas to its layout— it's a really long fic but i cannot recommend it enough

a traveller stumbles across the new world and learns about the legacy ayn and mc have left behind through stories told by residents of this new world.
something very unique about this fic is that it is never once told through the pov of ayn or mc. this is entirely told through the pov of people who have interacted with ayn and mc. the author did a really good job in making the post-godheim world feel incredibly real and lively— every single character in this story so-very alive with their own unique encounters with aynmc. this is the longest fic in this list of recommendations at ~70k words.

a detailed telling of godheim ayn's entire journey through life— from childhood, to adolescence, and to adulthood. builds a lot more on the world of godheim and the relationships within it.

a bit of a bittersweet one. this fic doesn't forget how time passes differently in other worlds, and so we get this series of letters written by the distant godheim ayn. a fun detail about the fic's title: it should be a reference to the letters you get after completing each godheim route, which, as written in the game, come from "the place that never existed"

this is a really, really, really good fic for anybody who wants to read more about ark ayn. it's a lovely fic that characterizes ayn beautifully, in how he struggles when he realizes not everybody shares the same ideals, in how he handles it, and just generally, the kind of burden ark ayn carries when it comes to the symbionts.

dragon!mc and the hero!ayn who was originally meant to kill the dragon, but ended up entering a pact with mc instead.

a really fun read for me as someone who really enjoys bittersweet fics about the hero and the one they're supposed to kill. there isn't much overt romance in this one, but i think aynmc still have a very close relationship as being something like the only two in the world who could truly understand the agonies brought about by being human in a very tragic setting

yeah this is angst. it ends sadly........ but it's so good...... i'm admittedly not very familiar with this genre so some of the things in this fic flew over my head. that said, i was still able to understand enough of it to enjoy it and ougghgh if you guys like angst and historical settings and childhood friends and just. bittersweetness. i highly recommend this fic

mc is nobility and ayn is a shadow guard. the entire fic goes through the very beginning, from when they were young and naive, to the very end where they die as the years pass on by
although it has a setting similar to the first qixi event, this fic tells its own story and it's a very lovely one! this fic actually goes all the way until the end of their life, to where aynmc have a child, which i found really interesting.

i highly recommend looking at sunnyqtian's fics. ofc, obligatory spoiler warning since some fics seem to be set during stories we don't have yet in global. still, they have a lot of really cute eden ayn fics! they also have a ton of nsfw fanfic, and it seems like they're mostly for switch aynmc, though a lot of their eden ayn fics are more femdom
lofter is a chinese socmed platform, something like tumblr. i think you can read the stories w/o an account as long as you're accessing the links on your phone, on a mobile browser. if you use a desktop browser, it'll prompt you to login.
if you have a wechat account, you can just log in using that! otherwise, i don't really know how to make a lofter account without a chinese phone number...
if you are able to log into lofter with wechat or something else, i highly recommend combing through the authors' lofter pages! you can look at their archive to see what they've posted. there are tons of ayn fics that i haven't shared here simply because, well, i'd just end up spending the entire night copy pasting every single fic link from each other lmao...
