went back to the hospital this morning. i was 2cm dilated and 80% effaced when i got here, but no more progress since then. they’re keeping me overnight and hoping i’ll go into labor on my own. if i haven’t by tomorrow they’ll start an induction. either way i probably won’t be leaving here before she’s born. ❤️

update: they’re going to start my induction some time tonight.

update: they’re starting me on a low dose of pitocin in a few minutes.

this is suddenly seeming very real.

got an epidural around 5:30 and finally got more than an hour of sleep. 7cm last they checked! we’re really doing this.

been having fairly regular contractions since last night. 1cm dilated & 50% effaced when they checked me at the hospital today but they sent me home after two and a half hours because i hadn’t progressed beyond that. thinking i’m gonna go into active labor tonight. trying not to get my hopes up too high, but that’s what i’m thinking. i except nora will be here some time tomorrow. then again, she’s as stubborn and strong willed as a baby can be, so who knows.
