Originally, I just wanted to draw them cuddling and holding hands. The blood splatter really changed things…Would love to see some headcanons this inspires~

I’m admittedly partial to the manhua’s designs in general, but the donghua designs have their merits (less details to draw for one). Actually I went into this little character study thinking I’d prefer Manhua!MQ by far, but drawing donghua!MQ his look really grew on me! I especially like the collar….its so catty?? Anyway, both MQs are not eye rolling at each other , they are collectively 🙄 eye rolling at Feng Xin(s) off screen.
